⭐️ River Glen FEI Recap ⭐️
River Glen Equestrian Park

Wonderful weekend in Tennessee with
Bradley Cooper, April Shepherd, and Dave Honaker , we drove down to New Market to do a 3*-S . Arrived Thursday mid day, in barn FEI inspection went well, as well as a dressage school and ring familiarization. Then after a steady dressage test on Friday Bradley had a skin reaction. We were 3rd after dressage but we were concerned about continuing the event . The FEI vet delegate and treating vet where very helpful and we started a course of antibiotics aswell as some topical ointment. Cara Greenacre was on-site w/ PEMF services and night check, so we were able to work with her aswell. Saturday morning Bradley looked good so we were able to SJ, he had a great forward round but I got him a little flat to the last combination which resulted in one rail down but still a great ride to stay in 3rd place! After walking the course a couple times I was really looking forward to XC. The course had varied terrain, lots of open galloping and forward questions. We were very busy with Bradley Saturday PM and Sunday AM to make sure he was feeling good in his body for Sunday’s XC. April and Dave were amazing help with Bradley’s care! Bradley looked great Sunday morning and we had a positive and confident run on cross country, just adding time faults to our score to end up in 7th place. Thank you again to April and Dave for all the help and support and thank you to everyone back at the farm for making sure things ran smoothly while we were gone. River Glen is a great venue, while having a friendly and informal atmosphere, the event was run on time , organized and had good tracks. The staff and volunteers were very helpful, we met lots of great people! I would definitely go back .

Our team had a great weekend at the Seneca Valley Pony Club Horse Trial this past weekend!
Becky and Bradley Cooper started our weekend putting in a steady, forward test. They had rail to be in 2nd in Intermediate then had an unfortunate glance off at a corner in the last combination of the course (with time faults for having to circle back) to end up 7th/14!
Stephanie Cordell and Codename Toby went after becky in Modified Rider. She started in first after steady dressage test with a 26.1 but added a rail and some XC time to move down to 2nd/14 and TIP Reserve. She celebrated graduating after XC after missing her high school graduation to compete!
Allie Sowden and Ajax were leading the Sr. Training division after a smooth dressage test. They had two rails in show jumping but lots of good jumps, then an awesome XC finish in 4th/12- it was a great second run at training!!
Michelle Lukenbill DeLeon and Grassroots started Sunday off competing in Open Novice where they had their most successful outing to date. A 31.9 in dressage and only 1 second too slow in SJ had them end the day in 3rd/14.
Charmaine van der Merwe and Allaboutpeaches had some tough competition in BN to sit in 10th after one of their best dressage tests. They had 2 fun double clear rounds to end up 6th/18!
Leigh Wood and Dollar Mountain had a great day together in the BN division. They had a lovely dressage test, an oops rail in show jumping and a fantastic, double clear XC. They had the winning score in our division however after an unfortunate error, caused them to have a TE. Love this horse to the moon and back!
