Slow start to the breeding season since the rabbitry is moving to Milwaukee! Sold our barn today and one young doe to someone starting their own operation after buying meat from us for 2 years! Jordan was bred today, so expected the first litter in Milwaukee on June 1st!

the Flemish Giant x Californian cross litter is due this weekend! She just moved into her new digs with a gigantic nest box!

5 does currently bred, 1 more breeding yet to take place this fall. Current meat is sold, but I do have a couple bucks I could sell if anyone is starting a breeding program! Litters due almost every weekend in October! ask about our products!

more work done on the new "hutch barn" today, moved one doe and her crew over, plus a group of future does. Grizzly helped me move each little baby 1 at a time, 9 trips b/c they were too squirrly to carry multiple!!

as our rabbitry grows, I learn what I like/don't like, we change hutch set ups every summer it seems...just started the 2011 project tonight, will be done by the end of the month, and I'll post pics!

I have picked out the doe I am keeping from Summer's litter! She's a cutie, her name is Birch. 2 does sold last week, one from Jordan and one from Summer, all the girls are bred again and due in a couple weeks!

Kits were born today! The fur in the box is wiggling and squeaking, but haven't counted them yet b/c it was kind of chilly this evening and I didn't want to uncover them!
