Diesel. This dog is such a sweet soul. The longest foster dog I’ve ever had. He watched so many other dogs get their homes and we never understood why he couldn’t find his. To know there is a family with a child that wants a dog so so bad (he even drew a picture months ago that looks like Diesel!) TRULY warms my heart. From his insane puppy antics to his maturing gentleman self, it’s been such a pleasure getting to know this boy and spend all this time with him. Kids are his favorite part of life and he gets to have one all to himself 🥹💙
So reduce your stress and surround yourself with dogs! 💙
Just Nyxie girl jumping for joy with her people! 💙 she is the mommy of the shepinois pups we had
Cody is still searching for his furever home! He’s a VERY calm and relaxed guy. He’s easily tired out and behaves so well, it’s hard to believe he’s only 6 months. 100% perfect with little tiny kids. He’s shy in new situations and looks to his person for reassurance but he quickly comes out of his shell when he’s sees it’s safe. Excellent with all dogs and he’s fine around cats too! UTD on shots and on parasite prevention. DNA test results came back mostly pitbull and stafforshire terrier with a splash of Labrador retriever. I’d say he got all the best qualities! Located in Hanover Pennsylvania
Diesel has seen so many others go to their forever homes but he is still waiting. Not a single application for him and we don’t understand why. He’s SUCH a good boy. He listens and loves to hang with his people. He’s 9 months old, neutered, UTD on shots, and on parasite prevention. He’s 45lbs and mom was a black lab. He’s great with other dogs that are okay with wrestling with him because he loves to play! He’s fine with cats too! He listens best when he’s the only dog though. Friends are so fun, he gets distracted. Fine with kids too! Located in Hanover Pennsylvania
The tears!!! Sweet Nyx. Okay okay people have been asking and I have to announce! This girl is livin the dream! Having her older daughters, I KNEW I needed their mom. A dog who has been taught to recall will “come when called” and the most important reason to teach a recall is for emergency situations. Should your dog ever get loose on leash or run out of your house or yard, it’s important that they will return to you when you call them. Dogs that do not come when called can easily get out of sight and become lost or find themselves in a dangerous situation. A reliable recall response can help prevent your pet from being harmed should they get loose. There are other, less life-threatening, reasons to teach your dog recall. Dogs need to be recalled in everyday situations like calling your dog into the house when they are out in the yard or have them return to you when off leash at the dog park or on a hike. Recalls are also a valuable foundational training behavior that can be used as a building block for changing other behavior issues like teaching an overly excited dog to calm down when playing with other dogs, or as the first step in getting your dog’s attention before you ask them to do something else. Teaching your dog recall is responsible pet parent behavior 💙🐾
It’s been an absolute pleasure 💙🐾
HANOVER PA Diesel aka Deezy is still so hopeful his people will find him. He’s 9 months old Shepherd/Labrador mix. He has adorable brindle legs and a brown coat under his black one which is pretty cool! He’s very sweet and he likes other dogs. Aggressive type ones totally scare him though. He rather just play. He’s very sweet with everyone he meets. He has been neutered, UTD on shots, dewormed, and on flea and tick preventative. His ideal home: kids are fine but he may overwhelm small kids. He has a lot of energy at times but with proper exercise, he settles down. Someone interested in training would be great. He is very smart and likes to learn but he NEEDS consistency. He’s potty trained but needs someone to let him out within 8 hours. He does well in a crate but would prefer a home that doesn’t use it often. A fenced yard is a must. There is nothing this guy loves more than free ranging the back yard. Cats are okay but he will chase a skittish cat that runs. Cats that stand their ground he doesn’t bother at all. Nova now Xena! Look at her 😍 anyone ever watch Princess Xena?! Her dad said she’s Princess Xena 💘 one of my favorite shows as a kid! She has 2 brothers and will be larger than them both! Happy life baby girl!
Bolt baby is still in search of his people! 7 months old Siberian Husky. He has really grown up and out of his wild puppy phase. He’s still a pup but extremely easy to handle now. He is so sweet and the most submissive dog in the room. He’s VERY confident though and likes to make every dog like him. If they don’t, he will keep crawling towards them until they do. He’s very protective of children and the smaller puppies he’s living with. He does well with absolutely any dog. He’s fine with cats too! In the winter, he will refuse to come back inside. He wants to sleep on the cold porch. It’s a huge plus if there’s snow too. He also will not tolerate a warm bath but a cold one he will just lay down for. He’s not like a typical dog. In the warm weather, he wants to come inside much sooner and needs lots of water. For this reason, we will not be sending him south. He really thrives in cold environments. To apply to adopt him, email [email protected] 💙🐾
