‼️ NEVER TRAP ANY ANIMAL WITHOUT A PLAN ‼️
If you have not touched base with someone about holding your cat and you don't already have an appointment lined up for your cat - you do not have a plan. For instance, your "plan" cannot be to trap it and call around for help. Please don't put your cat, yourself or a rescuer in that position.
Having said all that, we are HAPPY to help if we can. 👍🏼 But the above is written because there are times when we are unable to help. There are times when we are full, times when we have other obligations, times when we are already overbooked with our appointments. So, our hands are tied and no matter how much we want to help, we can't. 😿
In today's particular situation, we are so thankful we ✨were✨ able to help. Carrie had worked with another organization in the past. When she caught the last female in her colony today 👏🏼👏🏼, they were not available. 😬 Of course, the cat is also pregnant, so we don't want to seem ungrateful for Carrie's efforts because we are certainly ecstatic she was able to nab this last kitty for a completed colony. 🎉 She understands the importance of a plan now and I hope she doesn't mind me using her as an example because SO MANY folks need to hear this.
This is mom's third litter and none of the kittens survived from the first two litters, so this catch was very important! Congrats, Carrie, on a colony complete!!! Because of your dedication, these kitties will all have a better life! ❤
Lil Momma will be resting comfortably at the Pendleton Cat Palace until a spay appointment becomes available for her.
