Important Announcement: We Are NOT Accepting Healthy Community Cats at This Time
Our working cat program is currently at capacity, and we are unable to take in any healthy feral or community cats at this time. While we understand this news may be a bit unexpected to some, please rest assured that healthy community cats are remarkably resilient and well-suited to life outdoors—even during the winter months! Community cats are well-equipped to thrive outdoors in winter. Their thick coats keep them warm, their instincts help them find cozy shelters, and many are cared for by kind neighbors who provide food, water, shelter, and extra support.
However, we will continue to take in sick or injured cats who cannot fend for themselves.
If you’d like to support community cats this winter, consider:
- Building a simple outdoor cat shelter.
- Providing a regular food and water source (be sure it doesn’t freeze!).
- Helping with TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts to keep community cat populations healthy and stable.
Thank you all for understanding and for helping us support the feline members of our community!
