Everyone, meet Basil.
Basil is an old gal, who we believe to be terminally ill. 💔
Her Mama left for vacation with her kiddos, and of course I got to watch over this pretty girl!
She is missing Mom & didn't want to eat. Being so ill, caloric intake is CRUCIAL for her.
So here I come, with the let's eat out of my hand trick!
Also - scrambled eggs make EVERYONE feel better!
Today was a 15 stop day. I've been to Palmyra, New Cumberland, Mechanicsburg, Dauphin, Harrisburg and everywhere in between. In the car since 715am.
But when Basil needs to eat, then that's where my focus shifts.
These babies are my heart, and I love them very much. ❤️

Dallas is constantly pretending he's coming in, and I constantly pretend I believe him.
Then I cut his nails in the grass while he lays in the hole he so proudly continues to dig. 😅
I guess my time of rescuing animals in my life wasn't over.
A few days ago, several people reached out to me in a desperate attempt to help get a pack of dogs and farm animals help.
A woman in Dauphin has a "farm" with approximately 15 dogs that live in the woods behind her home. No shelter, basic needs barely being met, farm animals with no shelter... and 3 of these dogs broke free. They ran the entire town of Dauphin and Interstate 322 for 24 hours while their owner refused to take accountability for them.
Speranza has managed to capture one of the dogs. The dog is injured. The dog is in ROUGH shape, to say the least. You can imagine what a dog is subjected to after a life of strictly being outside in all of the elements with no care or shelter.
Today all donations go towards this one specific dogs care. I've used my professional and personal resources to get this case into hands of people that can make things happen for these babies.
Help me help them.
I am not a rescue. I am just a little woman trying to save the animal world and make things right. I can't do it without you.

These dogs and farm animals (goats, pigs, sheep) deserve a life of love and hope.
Please pray for them. And pray for the hearts of the rescuers that struggle seeing these things regularly. Pray for the neighbors, who came together as a community staying up all night trying to secure them so they wouldn't be hit.
It takes a village.
After the last 24 hours, my heart hurts. I'm emotionally drained. I've been on the phone and answering pleas for help, most times feeling helpless. I love working with animals, but days like these are mentally exhausting. I am leaning hard on my faith and trying to just make a tiny difference.
