Just a reminder that our shelter does not take surrendered animals. We will offer suggestions for training and various ways for you to keep your animals. However, currently the country is in crisis. Our tiny shelter receives at least 2 calls a day for people wanting to surrender their pets. City shelters can only take animals from within their own city or from a licensed facility. If we took in the animals requested, we would be putting animals down for space every week. That's not what we strive to be and that's not who we want to become. We do know there are circumstances that are beyond an animal owners control. Before getting an animal, please ask yourself what would happen if for some reason you couldn't keep that pet, where would it go? Even nice shelters are awful for pets! Every resource we know of is full.

It's adoption Saturday tomorrow! We will be at Pet Supplies Plus in historic and stunning Liberty, MO! Adoption events are great opportunities to meet several of our available dogs at the same time. And it's the only time when you can meet them without having an approved application on file. It's also a perfect time to get to know a little more about Pawsitive Tails and meet our wonderful village of fosters and volunteers. We couldn't do what we do without them!! If you've ever thought about fostering, come check us out and ask our fosters all the questions you have. We'd love to meet you!

Dear friends,
We are getting several inquiries about pups so felt it necessary to announce that we will not be having any in 2024 at this point in time. We are shifting focus onto our other business and there are so many pups in shelters right now that it is unreal. The market is flooded due to the pandemic and all the puppies purchased then are now of age to have their own pups. We encourage you to do your research on breed types that fit your lifestyle and try to help some of these rescues and shelters! Do not support the puppy mills by giving them your money, you are not rescuing a dog, you are supporting their business and they will continue! Only purchase from rescues, shelters or a reputable breeder! Thank you to all those who appreciate and support our breeding program! We will keep you posted on previous pups and any updates through out the year!! We will also be sharing pups from shelters needing adopted! God Bless!

🎄PUPDATE: KELCE IS WITH HIS NEW FAM IN NIXA, MO🎄

F1 Standard Bernedoodle Male
8 weeks old on Dec 3
"Kelce" Is a super sweet little guy! loves snuggling and loves to play, he truly has the perfect bernedoodle personality.
He is very smart and is picking up training very fast. He is currently litter box trained and is working on outdoor potty training along with crate training! We also have some video of him performing during his "clicker" training sessions.
He will have a nice wavy coat with very minimal shedding. We expect him to estimate around 70 # when fully grown.
"Kelce" is out of our champion bred poodle "Penny"
And the infamous "Murphy" from Becky’s Bernese Mountain Dog Puppies

The prettiest kindest eyes!!! 😍 This is Kelce he is a 7 week old F1 Bernedoodle! He will be 8 wks on December 3rd! He is intrigued by the tv, he is laid back and is the biggest snuggle bug! I got my book this morning and it is a good book for kids and adults dealing with grief. In a podcast that I watched with the author she noted people were giving as sympathy cards. What a special gift and great reminder during such a time. McKinsie Reeves-Radley your aunt did a wonderful job!

We are so excited to announce that Amy Myers Wilson was chosen from several canidates who submitted an application for our puppy to use for Therapy Service! Amy is a Special Education teacher at Harrisonville Elementary School. Amy and her husband Ernie also coach for Special Olympics! Congratulations to your family and the community that you will be serving! What an honor and a privilege to provide her to such a worthy service!!!!
