💙✨✨PRINCE PUPDATE✨✨💙
The update we have all been chomping at the bit to receive, just landed!! Here is what Prince's new foster mom had to say about his first 12 hours:

"His ears were a little more perky this morning. He slept well in his crate with blankets last night. Finally got him to go to the bathroom outside this morning.

He was feeling comfortable enough to try and ‘sneak’ around some of the other rooms of the house to get the lay of the land this morning and found the bag of rotisserie chicken I’ve been bribing him with by the door and got it down off the table to try and get the bag open 😂

Also, he does have a bark! After being in his crate about 30 minutes last night he barked a few times, not angry, but not playing either. So I went in the room and turned his ‘night light’ off to make it a little darker and turned on a radio for him so it wouldn’t be too quiet for him, just a little background noise. I gave him some ear rubs and assured him he could sleep and we didn’t hear a peep out of him the rest of the night."

Yay Prince!! We couldn't be happier to hear that he did well his first night and is already feeling safe enough to explore a little. Fostering is a rewarding experience! Meet Duke! 😍 This beautiful boy is well natured and enjoys playing. Some dogs just catch your attention and Duke is that dog for me. In late fall, we received a generous memorial gift in honor of Gloria Purdom, a woman who had a big heart for animals, especially cats! 🐈❤️

Her daughter, Sue Ann Robinson , shared with us that Gloria had a special fondness for feline friends. Though we primarily work with dogs here at PuppyLove KY, we certainly love cats too! 🐶🐱

In Gloria's memory, this week we're using the gift to help two sweet cats, Denver and Pepper, get spayed and neutered. This will prevent unwanted litters and ensure these two can live long, healthy lives.

Thank you to Jamie Matherly Byrd for this thoughtful gift, and for allowing us to honor Gloria's memory in such a meaningful way. 🙏"

UPDATE: We have a new foster doing a meet and greet with Prince tomorrow evening. Cross all your paws 🐾 that it goes well 💕

We need a ⭐️foster⭐️for this sweet boy. He is shy and scared. He melted when I put a blanket on him and let me rub his ears and back. He is potty trained but needs a little help learning to walk on a leash (he doesn’t pull he’s just unsure of it). If you are interested in fostering please complete the app below ⬇️

⭐️Happy News⭐️ We have met our fundraising goal for Moose's medical care. We are so thankful to all the donors, all the people who shared his post, to Ajay at Lex18 news for giving his story attention, and all the loving staff at Commonwealth Animal Hospital for giving this baby the best care. Moose also has 2 potential adopters! Hopefully soon you will be seeing a follow up story with this baby living his best life.

We have the sweetest pit looking for a loving family. Prince has beautiful striping, is shy but loving, and is potty trained. He is 1.5 ys old and healthy. Once he warms up to you, he loves to get rubs on the side of his face and shoulder. His little eyes will melt your heart. 💙
