The Exotic Small Animal Fostering & Adoption Program is a part of the Zoo Exotics Wildlife & Aquatics Club at Lincoln Memorial University - College of Veterinary Medicine Adoption fees vary based on the individual animal and if it has been spayed/neutered. Everyone meet Jerry! Jerry is a budgie that is currently being fostered through ZEWAC’s exotic foster/adoption program and is looking for his forever home!

Jerry is a very special bird because he has a unique malocclusion of his beak, but that doesn’t stop Jerry from getting around or eating. He will need beak trims that can be done at home every 3-6 months for the rest of his life. Other than that he is a very friendly and healthy bird that would be a great addition to your family!

Looking to rehome or relinquish a pet? ZEWAC is here for you!

Making the decision to re-home a pet can be difficult. If you find yourself needing to re-home an exotic pet, the Zoo, Exotic, Wildlife and Aquatics Club at Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine has a rescue program designed to take exotic pets into foster, provide veterinary care, and get them adopted out to loving approved homes. The program is run by veterinary students. We are currently accepting surrenders at this time. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need assistance with a pet.
