Just a throwback to when Mason was a pup. ❤️ We are monitoring Abi as she grows restless and starts to nest more. Please say an extra Prayer (or Jingle) as we draw closer to her whelping.

Lovings are most definitely not in short supply for our doggos and puppies! Mason was completely underwhelmed by the new world outside, infatuated with grass and unphased by his call chasing seniors.

Saying fairwell is always difficult with our litters, but when we see the happiness that their new puppy brings. That’s what we are about. Thank you DaVe DaVe for not only giving Philly a five-star home, but for allowing us to share this special video of your new family member and your son.

There’s no denying the intelligence of this wonderful breed of dog.

Our Story

White Pine Shelties was founded in 2015 between a Mother and Daughter who wanted to provide quality Shelties in an area. As a Military Family we moved from Fort Meade Maryland to Fredericksburg, Virginia where they found their retirement home in an older plantation style home situated on nearly nine acres.

We focus on healthy/happy dogs that are great representations of the Shetland Sheepdog breed. Build, temperament and size. We have two health tested females between the two co-founders and one health tested Stud male.

We breed our females every other heat cycle. It gives them the chance to bounce back from their pregnancy. This system has worked wonderfully for our dogs and we continue to practice this “formula.”

All our Shelties puppies leave for their new homes with their first booster and de-wormed accordingly for their age. Several days worth of food, a CD containing all their pictures taken from day one, toys, treats and a gift card to Petsmart. They come with open registration and all necessary paperwork for AKC. Puppies are $900.00 and come with Full AKC Registration. Upon whelping if you would like to place a deposit on a puppy it is $200 Non-Refundable. The remaining balance of $700 will be due in the form of cash on your designated pick-up date. We do our best to make things easier for everyone, so we do our best to be accommodating. We don’t, however, ship our puppies. We encourage our families to come pick up their puppy at eight weeks so they can interact with not only their puppy, but with us and our dogs in the program.
