Services include pet sitting, house sitting, equine sports massage, barn help, equine care, dog walking, and pet chauffeur to name a few. We are very professional in home pet sitters who will keep your dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, v
ery happy and safe at home. We also look after small pets as well. All services are done at your home so your pets do not become anxious or upset being taken out of their familiar surroundings. We keep your pets comfortable and stress free. Your pets will receive the attention and love that they are accustomed to in the place they are accustomed to! Our pet-sitting services are flexible and we work hard to make you and your furbabies feel safe, happy and loved! Every pet receives care based on their own unique personality and circumstances. If your pet is taking necessary medications or insulin injections, DMK Animal Services will be sure to take care of that for you. You will have peace-of-mind knowing your pet is safely cared-for at home until you return. For your K9 friends, DMK Animal Services loves dog walking, giving hugs, go swimming, playing Frisbee, ball...whatever your pet enjoys is what we will do! If your pet needs a ride to or from the veterinarian, park or the salon, give us a call and our Pet Taxi Service will handle all of that for you whether you are out-of-town or just "at work". Need someone to house sit? We can do that for you too whether you have pets or not. We will vacuum, water plants, bring in mail and packages, take the trash out, do the dishes and sweep the floors. A little bit about me, it would be rude not to introduce myself. My name is Diane Krause. I graduated from Post University in Waterbury CT with a Bachlors in Equine Business Management with a concentration in Equine Sports Massage after 15 years. I relocated myself from CT to NC. I have had cats all of my life and have a way with them. We connect on a profound level enabling me to tame most with love, patience, understanding and routine. This business started in August of 2012 and have successfully rehabbed and re homed a good number of strays since then. I am passionate about what I do and I am good at it, I really do know my stuff. My other passion is horses. I have loved them for many years and decide long ago I would make a career working with them. I have been around, working and riding horses since I was 6 (27 years). I have been doing Equine massage for about 14 years on and off but decided to make it official in 2012. I am an active advocate against horse slaughter and cruelty to animals. I am a Humane Society, ASPCA and AHSA member and donate regularly to equine groups and rescues that take horses out of the slaughter pipeline. I am also a member of Pet Sitter of America Pet Sitter Directory. I have had dogs for the last 10 years and have been working with them only about a year so they are a relatively new experience. In case you didn't know, there is an epidemic of once loved pets being abandoned and struggling to survive on the streets because their families had to move and cannot take them with them. It is very possible that their families have lost their jobs and cannot feed themselves let alone their pets. Perhaps these animals have run away or gotten lost. Whatever the reason for them being left behind, I wanted to help find them a new home. This included livestock, horses, cats and dogs. I had fallen into this quite by accident out of love for the abandoned cats at my apartment complex in CT and my own rescue of a Thoroughbred Filly from the feedlot at Camelot Auction in May of 2012. I now have a number of cats in my care, and have been tasked with finding homes for them. I have successfully rehabbed, re homed and matched 7 strays with their forever homes in CT. I check in on them often and all are happy and healthy. The original purpose of this business was to act as a classifieds, to network and help find homes for these animals. It has since however become about much more. In addition to cat adoption and adoption networking, I have decided to expand and include other pet services at the request of friends, family and adopters. The Goal...
As the business grows I want to purchase a building to house and shelter left behind animals and incorporate feed supplies including livestock grains, supplements and hay, pet supplies, natural and holistic alternatives in all feeds, treats, OTC medications including homeopathic remedies and a boutique.
