Always a pleasure working on and meeting new horses. Please welcome Chance and his friend Ruby(not pictured) to the Kotor Hoof Trimming program. Two very sweet older horses that were perfect for their trims. And their owner Sue was just as sweet and such a pleasure to talk to and get to know. She was very pleased with my availability to schedule in a timely manner and fit her in right away. She was pleased with how the trims turned out, and I'm excited to continue the journey with them and keep her horses comfortable. I am so glad to be able to do what I love, and meet all the wonderful horses in the process.

A day in the life of a farrier. Captured by the lovely Miss Jessica over at Trail of Faith Farms . I have had the pleasure of working on their horses for a little over a year now and love every minute of it.

If you haven't had the opportunity to check them out please do! Jessica and her team offer not only training and riding lessons, but also opportunities for both military veterans and disabled body riders to have a chance to enjoy horses in their therapeutic riding programs.
They also host wonderful fun horse shows and experiences throughout the year.

having the opportunity to work for them and make sure their horses are happy, healthy and have the best feet possible is such a rewarding experience. Thank you Jessica for all that you do, and here's to many more years to come! *cheers* 🥂

Fixin' up some goat hooves one claw at a time this morning 😊. Still a work in progress, however they all walked off alot better and no more mile long toes. 😁

Remember these feet 😳? Here she is 6 months later of routine 5wk scheduling. 😍 She'll always have a slightly distorted front right due to a unknown previous injury, but otherwise I'm so happy with how they've come along 😁

Had the pleasure of working on Minnie today. 😁 She's a super sweet gentle giant with great spacial awareness and holds her feet beautifully. Got called in to help address her chipping, flares and cracks. Its not 100% perfect in the first go around, but in a few more cycles I'll have her feet in tip top shape! At least she walked off alot better then before I started 🥰

We work on big and small 😁 every hoof matters! Specially for young baby donkeys who often need more frequent trims than adults in the beginning. I just love little Leroy's tiny feet aren't they cute! 🥰

Who says donkeys can't be fashionable! A fabulous client of mine took my recommendation to protect Chipotle's legs from the flies and bought him some knee high socks with the toes cut off, and he's totally rockin' the pink. 😁

This sweet boy had his first appointment with me. We fixed up all 4 feet, this was just one of them. Needless to say he walked off feeling so much better with 4 beautiful hooves🥰

It's so amazing to see how just taking away all the leverage from flares can make even the concerning cracks look so much better! This was this girl's first trim with me and I'm so excited to continue seeing progress 😁🥰

Whose our cute donkey of the day?! Well Earl is of course. We are working on backing up one of his long toes in the front and making it a more rewarding experience. So we tried trimming in the paddock for less stress and he knocked it out of the park 😁🥰 Yay for Earl!

And I was back to visiting pumpkin today. We are working on backing up her toe and working on fixing and treating her stretched white line 🥰 She was wonderful once we were able to catch her.
