Bonded brother and sister
These guys have been in homes with dogs cats and kids
They’re medium to large buns and respectful free roamers but also enjoy their time in a large pen.
They’ll come with a low litter box for our sweet tripod boy
Jpeg had his leg removed before surrender, no special needs aside from pads to cover a hard floor if you don’t have carpet or rugs, and a low box to help make potty time easier

Oatey update
Her bloodwork came back all normal but still waiting on the results of the EC test to come back
Currently she’s mostly on cage rest and we are treating it as a soft tissue injury
She is happy and has a good appetite so right now that’s all we can ask for🖤

Violette update.
With a lot of work and time and patience and crying, I got her feet healed. The scabs are gone. I think she was dreaming and I woke her up for this video.
And I didn’t even have to cut off a leg or euthanize her. Imagine.
Anyway here’s the angel being an angel.
Poor Tuck😕
His mouth is so jacked
It’s so incredibly bad. We have to have some extractions done and also see if we can get the infections under the gums under control. If you don’t know what you’re looking at here it’s because it’s an unholy mess and it’s not at all what it’s supposed to look like. I’ll add a normal X-ray I screen grabbed off the internet so you can see the difference. Main issues are the gaping hole in the left lower molar and that glowing crooked root that’s all infecty🫠
Going to have seriously consider how long to give myself to fix this beautiful baby because he’s in a lot of pain. The balance of “can I fix this before it’s cruel to try”
I usually give myself two weeks and then reassess, but I’m not sure when to start my clock. I guess today cause today I started antibiotics. Ugh. He’s so sweet. No creature deserves to be born with this genetic nightmare of a face, albeit a cute face, it’s causing him so much grief.
Also the $300 I initially wanted to raise for his vetting is going to be WAY low of an estimate
We’re at $250 with the exam X-rays and molar grind which is a huge discount from our amazing vet 😭🖤
Little Bonita had her front leg amputated yesterday. She did fantastic through the surgery and she’s recovering well. If you missed her story, she was taken in as a stray by animal control with a degloved foot. After a lot of testing, we were able to piece together an exact storyline of how this occurred. At some point Bonita had a home with humans, and something bit or punctured her front right leg. She must’ve been limping or something because they wrapped it up tight, too tight. Circulation was cut off to her foot, causing the toes to swell which led to her decision to start chewing😵💫
She chewed all of the flesh off of three toes before she was released outside. We know this because the bandage was removed, no sign of a bandage left aside from the bruising and the line of demarcation. Once we got x-rays, we realized that the infection from the original wound had done so much damage to the bones in the leg.
The leg really wasn’t going to be savable, even if we could fix the foot. So, we did the fastest, easiest and least stressful thing for the bunny, which turns out to be the most expensive option for us. Her surgery yesterday alone was $880 and adding in all of her x-rays bloodwork bandage changes and consultations with vets for surgery we racked up over $1200 in cost for the sweet girl.
