Puppy cuteness overload!!!!!❤
She's smaller than my shoe but cuter than ever. Sadie's 1st haircut & she did awsome! She's been started with at home grooming which helps my job & her stress level so much. Grooming is supposed to be enjoyable but when they come in for the 1st haircut at a year old its truly miserable for everyone involved.
She's had a great start & will continue to be a Joy on my table.
July 1-3 I will be scheduling 4 dogs per day. I have a couple people to get back to for the week of the 24th. If you want your dog groomed for the holiday weekend please message me!

Isnt she just adorable!?
She's living her best life doing lake & outside things, she's always a mess when she comes in but she's a perfect dog to work with.
Also, when she was in last she had some skin stuff going on, I recommend they see her vet. Turns out she had a bad thyroid problem going on & is now on meds clearing up.
If I recommend a trip to the vet its because I truly think something is wrong.😊

I'm scheduling into the week of June 24th, I know some have been surprised they couldn't get in the same week like usual but my schedule has been filling up fast. Please get your dogs scheduled. I am grooming 10-15/ week depending on the size & services needed. My schedule will continue to fill up & hopefully soon I'll be 3 weeks out!🙌

Dixie refuses to get in the tub by herself or on my table by herself but she has to do it anyway!🤣

Starting July 1st, my prices will be increasing. Everything will be going up $5. I have some dogs that should be in the next size bracket & that will also take effect as well, I will let that customer know if that is them.
As a reminder, canceling or not showing for your appointment with less than a 24 hour notice will result in a 50% missed groom fee. This will now apply to dogs that are unmanageable & have to get sent home. I'm still using product & possibly wear on my equipment if I get that far.
My schedule is filling up fast so call, text or message to get in!

So PLEASE communicate with your vet, they are happy to answer ALL of your questions. I have called Vets before to get permission, I will do it every single time if I need to.

Yoyo is my unicorn Husky that is absolutely perfect. He loves every single second of his grooming appointment. I haven't had Yoyo in for quite a few months due to him having some illnesses going on, his owner was battling some illness but they both seem quite well, I was so happy to finally get a call from him last week.❤

It's me, Sunny, the face behind Filthy Paws. I have a lot of followers but I don't actually groom for everyone so let me take a second to introduce myself.
I have been doing this for a little over a year. Prior to that I worked at both Meatshops, hospital & a school setting. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management & I love dogs, tolerate cats.🤣
My little family has been my backbone from the beginning. I've been dating Nate for over 6 years & we recently moved to the country. My daughter, Stormy, is going on 14 & is very active in extracurricular activities & loves to babysit. My son, Jaxson, just turned 12 & loves all animals. We have 2 dogs named Twix & Foxy, 2 geckos Crouton & Cheesecurd & a Ball Python named Eva.
Too many outdoor cats to name but they're all pretty ok.
I grew up on a small farm north of Hazen where my dad & stepmom live. I have 1 brother 4 years older than me. My mom also lives in Hazen.
I'm a huge fitness ju**ie. I workout an hour before I come & get a 30-60 minute walk in also. My freetime is typically spent at the lake or on my motorcycle during the summer. During the winter, well, I like to drink beer so.....

Summer is getting close & just wanting to let everyone know when school is out I will be going back to 1 or 2 dogs on Fridays so I can be done around noon or 1pm. I can schedule dogs for Saturdays through May. April 13th & May 4th I will be unavailable for Saturdays. If Fridays are the ONLY days that work please get your pups scheduled!😘

Believe it or not.....I absolutely HATE hair. All hair. Dog hair, cat hair, my own hair, I hate it. I wear a lot of masks, goggles sometimes, even a honey bee hat if it's a super hairy situation. 🤣
No matter how much I sweep & vacuum at work it's still EVERYwhere.

She's 1 of my craziest most favorite Doodles that come in. Life is all games for her.

I'm a very flexible person when it comes to scheduling or even receiving payments. I am a service to you, I expect to get paid upon pick up. Your total bill is not Thousands of dollars.
I'm fine not getting paid for a day or 2 if you didn't grab cash or wrong check book or someone else is supposed to drop a payment off or a different person picked up & the payment is not their responsibility.
But please be respectful & realize this is my business. A payment received, if due to circumstances above, is expected within 1-2 days. But in reality UPON PICK UP.
Please keep this in mind.

Mr. Rugar has been 1 of my favorites since he started coming in. He's 1 of my regulars that basically started with me at the beginning. He knows when we're done it's time to play. He's a lot of dog & I don't think he knows just how big he is.😊

After my appointments my dogs got haircuts & I decided to play with color. She wont sit still enough for a good picture. I like it but with practice itll get better. This was my first attempt. 🤗
I love watching working dogs. She's just playing but has the natural stalking instinct. Pepper is so smart & very well behaved.

More deshedding! Definitely my most favorite part of grooming! Make it snow!!
Today I had a good boy come in that was in dire need of a good deshed. If you have a dog that sheds a lot, Shepherds, Goldens, Labs, Huskies, desheds are so beneficial for them. It changes the coat color from dingey to shiny, makes them soft & they just feel so much better. This guy's hair is coming out in clumps. He looked so nice & fresh but again....I forgot an after picture.😑
This Golden came in to see me that travels everywhere with his dad. I should have gotten a full after picture but we went outside & shortly after he was picked up. Obviously he was a very happy good boy!🤣
