Sweet Kiern is breaking our hearts and still urgently needs a foster or forever home! She had her leg amputated (we had to go ahead and do it asap since she was sadly starting to try to chew it off 😔) and although she’s on medication, she still seems to be in a lot of pain and can’t wait to get onto a cozy couch or bed.

Kiern really needs a comfy home to recover in (which really just means a lot of laying around) with someone willing to give her all the supportive cuddles she needs.

If necessary, our wonderful employee, Chris, can foster Kiern if needed and we’re very grateful for him. However, he’s at the shelter full time and will have to keep her separated from his own dogs. If there’s a foster out there that could be with Kiern more and give her all the quality time she deserves while she recovers, we’d be so appreciative!

It’s the easiest job you could have - lounging around with a loving and adorable pup! If anyone would be willing to foster Kiern asap, you would be making a world of difference for this sweet girl 🖤
