Some quick facts about Service Dogs:

● The ADA wrote the federal laws that cover the use of Service Animals.
● There is NO registration for Service Dogs (the deals you see on the internet to register your dog are scams)
● Any breed of dog (or miniature horse) can be a Service Animal. No other animals are allowed to be utilized as Service Animals.
● There are big differences between Service Dogs, Therapy Dogs and Emotional Support Dogs.
● You may train your own Service Dog
● A Service Dog must be housebroken, must be under the handler's control at all times and they must perform at least one task that is specific to their handler's disability.
● Service Dogs can save lives!!
