Update: I think we might have found him a home…it’ll depend on what he thinks of their current dog, and vice versa. Fingers crossed!!

Last night I received some very sad news. One of our past puppy clients died from Covid last week. Her husband is unable to keep the dogs and contacted me, which I am so grateful for. We will keep Griz until we can find him a new home. He is a large Miniature American Shepherd, neutered, 7 1/2 years old. He has lived with other dogs and cats. He was his mama’s hiking buddy. He did some nose work classes with her and maybe a little bit of agility. He is protective and has nipped at strangers putting their hands over his fence on their property in the past. He was dearly loved by his owners and he will only go to a perfect home. If you are interested, please contact me.

I’ve been putting this off for a while, but with more surgeries coming up next month, it’s time. It is unlikely that we will have more litters anytime soon 🙁. I have learned so much throughout this process and I’ve met so many wonderful people. It’s just too much for me right now, unfortunately. So...we are considering putting this girl into a new home. She is a Maverick x Dixie daughter. I was keeping her to breed. I will be extremely picky about where she goes. She can be aggressive with Souvi (she’s fine with the others). She’s good with my kids, horses, and chickens. If you’re interested, please message me. Be prepared for MANY questions 😁
