Beautiful Bella will be available for adoption in about a week. It will be a super tough goodbye for me as I am still grieving the loss of her brother Bentley. Bella has really come out of her shell lately and is growing up to be a super loving and playful girl. She was very shy at first so I love seeing her find her confidence. . .

CeCe is in her furrever home!! Yay! She’s my absolute hero of a Mama cat. I’m so proud of her and how she triumphed through every trial she went through. One of my former adopters, and friend, saw her pic when I first got her and said - She’s mine - I’ll adopt her! She will be with two other of my former fosters and will never have to worry about being abandoned or having babies again!! These are the stories that keep me going in rescue! . .

We have names for the babies. Pumpkin, Pie, Biscuits and Gravy. They are eating well with their mama. I am supplementing a little with the bottle since mama is still adjusting to being a mama and gets overwhelmed if they start fighting over a ni**le. Which they like to do - silly kids. Mama is doing well. She seems to be healing up well and is acting more like herself these last two days which makes me so happy. . .

So today was quite the day. Mama CeCe had FOUR babies. Which is amazing considering how small she is. However, we did have a complication. She had a pr*****ed uterus. We got her to the vet and they put her back together. Her and the babies are back home with us and doing well. She will have to wear a cone but she’s doing well. The babies are eating from her. She’s purring and happy. I’m so proud of her. I’m also VERY grateful for my husband for taking her to the vet while I was at work. Once the nuggets get a bit bigger we will name them. Too soon to tell genders. We have two tabbies, a tuxedo and a calico (looks just like mama). . .

Meet CeCe. CeCe is maybe a year old. She was abandoned by some tourists at Circus Circus. She is an absolutely beautiful calico that is pregnant. I’m guessing she has about a month left before she has her babies. I’m looking forward to hanging out with her and am blessed to be able to provide her with a safe place to have her kitten nuggets.

The bug crew are almost ready for adoption. Beetle, widow and butterfly should be available in a few days. We may need a little more time with Caterpillar, Mantis and Chompers just to make sure they are fully ringworm free. Butterfly is such a little cutie. He loves playing with his sibling, especially his twin, Caterpillar. He purrs when you pick him up but quickly wiggles free to go play. . .

The bug crew is doing good. They are still quite timid except for Beetle and Chompers (they are very social). The ring worm is improving still have a few weeks of treatment. I’m working am socializing them and teaching them to accept love. . .

Introducing Chompers. This talkative little guy joined the bug crew today. He’s the sole survivor of his litter and unfortunately has ringworm as well so since my whole crew is being treated for it we just added him in. He made friends instantly with them. He’s quite the talker. He has plenty of stories to share. Him and the bug crew will be with me for a while as we treat them for ringworm. It’s amazing that not so long ago ringworm was a death sentence at most shelters. It’s very easily treatable. With proper precautions it’s easy to contain to the kitten room. These babies will heal up and then be able to live full and amazing lives with their future families. Just takes some time, meds and patience. Which I don’t mind one bit giving to them. . .

New fosters. This crew is with me for a few weeks to gain some weight and heal up from ringworm. They are about two months old and are super scared at the moment. I will work on socializing them over the next few weeks and get them ready for their furrever homes. They were names by the shelter. Butterfly, beetle, mantis, caterpillar and widow. .

Melvin cracks me up. He always has a look of disdain on his face. As though he’s always rolling his eyes at everyone else. He’s happier then he appears. He’s a snuggle bug that loves to sit on my lap. He has a calm demeanor but is also quite playful with his siblings. . .

Eugene is very playful. He especially loves playing with his sister Gertrude. They are always running around together and wrestling. They are both very close to surgery weight and will be ready for adoption late next week. . .

Walter may have a sad old man face but he’s truly such a happy boy. He loves to be picked up and hugged. He purrs instantly. He wants to be by his humans. He is almost at weight for surgery and will likely be available the end of next week for adoption. . .

I’d say Delores is at peace in her new home. She has three older cat siblings including one of my former fosters, Monkey. Her new mama says she loves to create havoc around the home by stealing the big cats food and climbing on everything but they all love her very much. And as you can see here in this picture- she’s at peace with the havoc she makes in her new home and rests soundly. . .

New fosters. We have five new fosters. They are about six weeks old and are with me for a few weeks while the gain weight. They are VERY energetic and a ton of fun. This energy makes it difficult to get good pics of them as they don’t sit still long enough. Their theme is “retirement home kittens”. It’s so hard to believe that Delores doesn’t have a home lined up yet. Delores will be available at the end of this week for her furrever family. She’s super talkative. Loves exploring. She loves to snuggle on or around her humans, taking turns between foster mama and foster papa so we both are blessed by her warm snuggles with the loudest purr you’ve ever heard from someone so tiny. She is full of personality. If you’d like to meet her and see if she’d be a good fit for your family let me know. . .

Delores is just too precious. She’s very independent and wants to continually explore. She’s learning to snuggle. She purrs instantly when you pick her up. She’s quite the character. She has full conversations with us. Love her to bits. She just needs to gain 0.3 pounds and she will be big enough for surgery and to be adopted. So maybe a week or so. This beauty is Delores. She was found wondering the street in the horrible heat with her brother today. Her brother is double her size and is ready to get fixed and go up for adoption. But precious Delores is only half way to the goal weight so I get the blessing of fattening her up. She’s very curious and talkative. She’s been exploring the house. She loves our dog but isn’t quite sure of the big cats yet. We will get there. She’s already successfully used the litter box. I’m excited to spend the next few weeks with this fluff nugget. . .
