Erik picked up this strand of ELEVEN balloons out of the hayfield this afternoon. They were losing helium and would have been essentially invisible in another few hours, and then stood a good chance of getting mowed, raked and baled in the dense grass to be potentially eaten by a cow, horse or goat this winter. This is often fatal to the animal, causing intestinal blockage or choking. With the long strings wound right into the bale, an animal may not even realize what it’s consuming until it’s too late.

Please, on behalf of not only livestock but wildlife, skip the balloons when you’re decorating for your party this summer! Releasing balloons, whether accidental or intentional, is littering, plain and simple—and it can truly have deadly consequences.

Message from Owner: Jimmy went outside 3 night's ago and disappeared. He was abandoned by his previous owner 2 years ago and we took him in. He has had a hard life and I just want to make sure his remaining years are good.

Description: Jimmy has a white spot on his chest and has white fur between his hind legs. Otherwise is all black. His right ear is clipped.

❤️❤️❤️ WELCOME TALIA AND TABITHA! Saved these one day old newborns yesterday. Two Tortie girls. They were left in a box with their placentas at our Petsmart. WHO DOES THAT?! We swooped them up, had them checked out by our vet, and got them into the best neonate care around. We are backing them for veterinary care until they are adopted so that will include their vaccines, spays, and anything else they might need. Unfortunately, their poor mama is probably out there missing her babies and will now go back into heat quickly. Please don’t take babies from their mamas. You have to take them all. Spaying could have prevented this. These babies are a couple of the lucky ones… very lucky…. Donations towards their medical greatly appreciated.

We appreciate people wanting to help kittens get to safety, but if you're helping kittens (best time to rescue kittens is around 5 weeks), make sure you are also helping the adult community cats get spayed/neutered or kittens will continue to appear OVER and OVER again.

When kittens are scooped up without a mom, she goes into heat fairly quickly and will have another litter in 2 months. It is vital to stop the cycle of nonstop littering and to get mom cat spayed to end the cycle of breeding!

Description: My cats Guts and Jan got out while we were gone on vacay for a couple days. They were in the hse and I usually leave the door that goes into the grge open for them so it's like an extra room for them. There is a small hole that I keep blocked off in the grge. When we got the hole was open and my 2 cats were missing! We got Wednesday night and we've been looking for them ever since. Guts is gray, black, brown and white. He has a tiger collar on. Jan is a fluffy small black cat. She has a black collar with Halloween skulls on it.

I'm the only one who was super friendly, so they decided I wasn't meant to be outdoors, and took me in. However, they are moving out fo the country, have plenty of pets of their own, and know they will be helping kitties in their new place, so here I am! I'm sweet, curious, and relaxed.
