Feels like it’s a little cooler! My Westie, Toby, loves this weather. We have dubbed it Westie Weather (but anyone can enjoy it)!
It’s time to start getting the pups back out and going for walks again now that it’s cooler. I’d love to get a group or groups together of like minded people and their like minded dogs out and moving. I would put together groups that can interact safely and are of the same athletic abilities and have to same training goals while out in public and on the trails. I would keep the groups small and I will guide you through your goals with lots of 1:1 instruction.

I’m itching to do some more training! Young, old, nice, fearful, big, little bring them all!! I’m offering some specials right now. Meet Kokoro, an almost 7 month old Dutch Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog/ Belgian Malinois cross. This beautiful boy was a handful and a half when we first started working together. With some clear directions, distinct boundaries explained and lots of love, he has become such a good boy! There is still work to be done….it’s never ending with this type of working breeds, but his owner is committed and doing a great job!

So now that people are starting to do some traveling again, I’ve decided to add some services in addition to my dog training. I’m happy to offer visits to check on your pets whether they’re dogs, cats, horses, fish…. whatever you may have. Disclaimer: I’m deathly afraid of chickens but I’m happy to give it a try!!🤣 I can walk your dogs, play with the kitties and any other chores you may need done. Unfortunately I cannot offer overnight stays or board your critters at my house.

I was a Vet Tech for years before I became a RN for 26 years so medication administration isn’t an issue. I also have plenty of references.

Spring has sprung!! The daffodils are up and blooming, March storms are blowing in like lions, I’ve tilled my dahlia and veggie gardens so let’s get some dog training happening! Time to brush up on manners in public (don’t be the owner of THAT dog at the breweries) or maybe you’ve been thinking about seeing if your best friend is a Therapy Dog candidate.
