And weekend isn’t even over…started in east TN with a removal from an old historic home and ended in East Nashville with an open air colony that found an apple tree. was awesome. He did most of the work. I just had to feed him! No lives were harmed and all are tucked away in their new homes!! Wait till I show you what tomorrow brings??? 🐝

This residence had two colonies in it. One right on top of the other. Pretty cool is some ways. Jack worked real hard and we got it taken care of in a few hours!! 🐝

You might be wondering what is this or what is in that hole? Propolis! Another very important product that the bees collect. It’s used to seal up and gaps or in this case a feeder hole. Anything they can’t remove they bury it propolis. It’s sticky and I love seeing it. It’s a good sign IMO. 🐝

Tornados stink. It 430 am, I’m making coffee outside on an old camp stove. I’m about to head out to check on my bees. Our little town of got hit real hard. We were fortunate so far. We have a roof. No power but at least cell service appears to be working properly. Stay safe all!! 🐝

My The Jessi Combs Foundation inspired hives. I’ll be painting more boxes. They look good but the story is a great one. Also it’s a way to help a friend of mine who was very close with Jessi Kayce Johnson Smith! We can celebrate the legacy with these girls! 🐝
