Y’all! We’re excited to share some wonderful news!

It took her 3 months but Courtney has decided that nothing quite felt like “home” the way our hospital did and we are thrilled to welcome her back to the family! We offer drop-off appointments so your pet can get the care they need while you’re at work or running errands!

🔹 Drop off between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM on your way to work.
🔹 Our doctors will examine your pet during the day and give you a call once they’re finished.
🔹 Pick up anytime after the doctor calls and before we close at 6:00 PM — perfect for after work!

If you call to make the appointment just let us know that you’d like a drop-off appointment and we’ll take care of the rest! Scheduling after hours or don’t have time to call? You can also schedule a drop off appointment yourself from our website or through PetDesk app! ☺️

Late this afternoon a sweet older girl was rushed in clearly in distress and after her initial work up and rads we realized she needed a higher level of care than we could provide in-hospital with treatment that would extend into the night. Because she needed to remain on oxygen I coordinated transport with Becky and Nicole at animalancerva to ensure she arrived safely at Partner Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center Richmond. Please keep this sweet girl in your thoughts and prayers as she continues her recovery journey!!

🚑 For those of you who might be interested…Animalance RVA provides both urgent and emergency transport, as well as general pet transportation for families who may not have access to a vehicle or one that can safely accommodate their pet. Their service helps ensure pets get the veterinary care they need, whether it’s a routine visit or a critical transfer.
