Carrot is a sweet little girl who’s very trusting and affectionate, will let you hold her upside down and enjoys being held. She is very chill and calm, other than her silly playtime, and loves to snuggle, nap, and hang out. Identical sister of Parrot with a beautiful little triangle face with big light brown / hazel eyes and eyeliner looking black stripes around the eyes as well as unique light brown and black markings on forehead. She has a slender small body, and her mother is full grown and very small as well so she will likely look like a kitty forever!

Be A Foster – SAVE A LIFE!

Fostering can be very rewarding and is a vital part of CARE’s mission of rescuing abandoned and homeless cats and kittens. As a foster you will be given training and assigned a mentor. ‼️ CARE pays all cat expenses! ‼️
You provide a loving home until they are adopted.

Fosters must be at least 21 years of age.

Young Volunteers:

Are you a young animal lover and want to be a part of rescue? Plan a donation drive in your neighborhood or school to help feed rescued cats and kittens! (Needed items are listed under our wish list and on our Amazon and Chewy page) Or, get together with your friends or scout troop and make toys for the rescue cats and kittens!
Everyone can make a difference!!!

The story of Stella:

Stella, aka “momma”, would visit from the woods behind a house off a busy street, until one day she visited with babies. A neighbor found homes for 3 of the 5 babies and trapped her and the last 2. We didn’t know what to do, so until we could figure out something, they just stayed in an unoccupied room. Happy that Stella and her last 2 babies had a safe place and regular meals. We were able to find one of the kittens a home. But we noticed her belly getting bigger. Was it the food? She IS highly food motivated! Well, we found out on July 4th, between the storm and the fireworks. She was already pregnant with another litter. 5 more babies!
Now Stella and her babies are with CARE.

Stella, is such a sweet momma. She loves her treats but she also loves getting and giving love. She is a little fearful of strangers, but give her some treats and you’re now her best friend. She doesn’t like to be held, but you can love her all day!

Chap is the last of Stella’s 1st litter. This poor little man was So scared of people in the beginning, but has turned into the sweetest little love bug!

He is so good with the kittens from his momma’s 2nd litter. He watches out for them so well. Chap will let the babies play with the toys but can’t help but to join in from time to time. He will jump up on the arm of the chair you’re sitting in, do a little flip next to you and fall right to sleep - loving all the love as he purrs the night away. Chap gets along well with dogs, too!

Pepita is a delicate and shy kitten who is still learning to trust people. Wrapped in a blanket and snuggled in your arms, Pepita finds her comfort and security. Though she may be nervous at first, with time and patience, she will blossom into an amazing, loving companion.

Pepita needs a home with someone who understands the importance of socialization and is willing to put in the effort to help her feel safe. While she may wiggle when picked up initially, she quickly settles down once you pet and hold her, revealing her gentle and loving nature.

Pepita would thrive in a home with another confident cat to help guide her and build her confidence. She can also be adopted as a pait wiht one of her siblings: Peaches, Jellie or Sesame. She might do well with a cat friendly dog after proper introductions but would be best suited for a home without young children.

Pepita may not be the ideal fit for first-time cat owners, however, the time and effort you invest in her will be rewarded with lots of love and snuggles in the end.

Meet BayBee. This little patch tabby is the epitome of pure kitten cuteness. Her quizical expression is just so much fun to see! Her tiny meow is adorable when she asks to be picked up, which quite often.

Fun times for her includes is a rough and tumble match with her foster buddies. She has discovered the laser toy and she thinks that it is a total blast.

BayBee is always ready for new adventures which includes making new kitty friends. She is currently looking for her forever home. Her biggest wish is to possibly find a home wit her sister Ladybug of another young friendly, playful kitten.

Introducing the one and only Ladybug!

This little girl has overcome some big hurdles in her young life and has come out on top. Sassy and sweet, she definitely has that cute kitten syndrome. Ladybug craves attention and begs to be picked up and held. Her purrs are so loud one could probably hear them in the next room!

Silly one minute and cuddly the next. What more could one ask for. Ladybug enjoys playing with her roomates and a good rough and tumble is at the top of her list. Ladybug would love to find her forever home with possibilty of having her sister adopted with her or a home with another playful young kitty.

Introducing Midnight Mocha or just plain Mocha. This little beauty is ready to take on the world, Her unique markings on her face make her quite the topic for a conversation.

Sweet but sassy, Mocha, she is everything you could want in a kitten. Super affectionate, Mocha loves to be held and pampered. She is ever so adventerous and really enjoys exploring new spaces and making new friends. Playtime is very important to her. One of her favorite pastimes is a good romp, which includes a wild bout of rough and tumble with her buds.

Mocha would love to find her forever home. High on her list is to be adopted with on of he foster buddies (Ladybug or BayBee) or to be a best friend to another young kitty.

Bud is a very curious & playful brown tabby. He loves to play with his younger sister, Rose, and two sibling small dogs.

Bud wants to be petted and played with constantly, or he'll remind you by telling you. He is very active, talkative, and loves all kinds of toys.

Rose is tiny for her age & roly poly. She’s very chill & quiet, but can purr up a storm! Loves to be petted, but can entertain herself.
Rose can stand up to her older brother & small canine sisters, but loves them all. She’s well socialized with adults, children, dogs & other cats and would be a great addition to any loving home.
