(C.A.R.E.) is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to the rehabilitation, care and adoption of cats and kittens rescued from euthanizing animal shelters in Richmond, VA and surrounding areas. And, accepts on a limited basis animals from alternative sources. We are committed to the highest principles of humane care and obtain professional medical treatment for all animals in our systems.

Journey loves to play and will go and go and go....He is very adventerous and enjoys exploring new places, His super toy is the laser pointer only second to his play antics with his siblings. Hours of entertainment are happily provided by Journey! He can't wait to start his new life with his favorite person. A big plus for him would be able to have one of his siblings adopted with him, If that is not an option he would really enjoy a home with another young, playful kitten or cat.

A Streetcat Named Desire? No, it’s Stella!

With a special adoption fee of $75 we have made it even easier to adopt this gorgeous kitty.

Stella is a sweet girl tuxedo, and is only a little over a year old. She is a little shy of strangers, but give her some treats and you’re now her best friend. She doesn’t like to be held, but you can love her all day. She's the sit beside you kind of cat!

Stella gets along with other pets, is spayed and UTD on all her shots, microchipped and negative for FeLV/FIV. Apply to adopt her today!

Brie, affectionately called Brie-Anna when she is being extra sweet, is the princess of the litter. She is the first to want snuggles and starts purring as soon as her human touches her. Despite being the smallest, she LOVES her wet food.

Brie loves to play and is usually not too far behind her brother when investigating something new or trying out a new toy.

She is good with cats, cat-savvy kids and well behaved dogs. She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, flea/tick treated and litter box trained.

Colby jack is the largest of his litter, weighing a full pound more than his sisters! He has a permanent pout, that is adorable to everyone who meets him.

Colby loves food, but would choose adventure over dinner any day. He loves trying out new toys, investigating hiding spots and when he's all done, curling up with his sisters for a nap.

He is good with other cats, well behaved dogs and cat savvy kids. Colby is up to date on vaccines, flea/tick treated and litter box trained.

Feta is a spicy variety. Don't let her initial shyness fool you, once she's warmed up, she is all sass. String and mice tails are her favorite toy, when she isn't wrestling her brother.

Feta is good with other cats, but probably not a good fit for a household with very young children or loud dogs, as she takes a bit longer to be comfortable around new things. She will thrive in a household with another cat, to show her the ropes (or adopted with one of her siblings) and for extra confidence.

She is up to date on shots, flea/tick treated and litter box trained.

Emmie is a gorgeous brown tabby with striking yellow eyes, a crisp white chest, and the cutest four white paws. This playful, curious girl has a personality as unique as her beautiful markings. She’ll greet you with sweet, melodic meows and lean in beside you, making sure you know she’s there for some love and attention. Emmie is okay with dogs but prefers to take her time adjusting to new feline friends, as she’s had a tough experience with another cat in her past. She would be fine as the only cat and the center of your attention. With patience and love, Emmie blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion who will brighten your days.

Elektra is quite the acrobat and loves to jump at dangly toys and laser pointers! She’ll also carry toys around in her mouth and drop them when she wants to bat them around. But when she's ready to slow down, she'll come looking for a lap to relax on. Electra loves attention, and will give you little mews when she wantss you to notice her. She is very sweet and will be a great addition to any family. What she needs is a place to call home.
