We are currently hiring for a full time technician / assistant. Small animal anesthesia and surgical monitoring skills required. Large animal experience is a plus but not required (but need to be willing to learn).
The ideal candidate will be a team player, honest, have integrity, hard working, good humored, willing to learn and grow, have patience with others, and be punctual.
Job duties entail: Monitoring small animal anesthesia / surgeries, small animal dentistry, helping with radiographs of small and large animals, small and large animal restraint (will train for large animal if needed), restocking, answering phones at times, collecting and processing laboratory samples, placing IV catheters, Intubating small animals, etc.
Parker Veterinary Services is a one doctor mobile practice that is in the process of transitioning to a regular clinic that offers farm calls. We are also family owned and operated, and the successful candidate will become part of the Parker Veterinary Services PLLC family with ample room to grow with the practice as we add more doctors and technicians.
Starting pay is $15 - $20 per hour depending on experience.
Eligible for benefits after 90 days.
There will be no on-call at first, but after the clinic is completed, some on-call, or staying late may be required to help the veterinarians with emergencies.
Must be 18 or older, possess a valid driver's license with no DUI's (as you may be required to drive company vehicles at times), have the ability to pass a background check and/or drug screen, and must have worked as a small animal technician / assistant with anesthesia skills.
