Hello! My name is Darcie and I live in the Salt Lake City Utah area. I am a small breeder of French Bulldogs / Frenchies. Our momma dog Sookie and a 10 yr old male Gus who is my retired females dad. My story:
It all happened by chance. In 2008 my mother-in-law gave us a sweet female brindle French Bulldog named Porkchop. Being they had too many pets for their home, Porkchop came to li
ve with us. She had one litter of pups at my mother-in-laws. These dogs were so cute I decided I would try this breeding thing. The pups were so much fun I decided that I would continue to breed. So I officially started my in home breeding program of AKC French Bulldogs in 2009. All of my pups have turned out with most loving tender temperaments, breed standard and conformation. After Porkchop’s last litter in May 2010 we decided that Porky was done having puppies and she was retired. We kept a pup from her last litter that absolutely stole my heart. Her name was Sable. She was a brindle female and out of all the puppies that were born in the house she was meant to be my dog. Something very special about this pup. When she was born she had a hard time breathing. It took me 22 min of doggie CPR to get this little pup going. Sable sadly passed away from an allergic reaction to a bee sting just one month after she was turned a year old. I was heartbroken. After a while we decided that we missed having another Frenchie so we set out to find us another little girl and that is when we came across Sookie. Our beautiful Cream sweetheart. She has a wonderful disposition, great with my kids, people, cats and just a wonderful member of the family. I pride myself on personal integrity and strong breeding ethics. My dog/s are not kenneled and never will be, as they are pets first and breeders second. I neither in-breed, nor crossbreed to ensure the strengths of the breed. Our Frenchies are part of the family. Serious inquiries please, as I place my pets in the arms of only responsible and loving owners. When you call, I can tell you all about the pups that you are inquiring about. Watching each pup daily, I give a thorough description of temperament, conformation, and health. I work closely with other breeders and have recommendations on other breeders and their litters.
