First time ever laying eggs for this girl. She must have laid a day or so ago. When I palpated her this morning, she was empty. Looks like at least 3 or 4 are good. I will take it, for a first time layer!! 🐢

The progression of eggs “chalking”; which means they are fertile. When eggs are laid, they come out sorta whitish yellow color. The 2nd picture was taken about 12 hours after laying. The 3rd pictures was taken about 20 hours after laying. The 4th picture was taken 36 hours after laying. So in theory, all of these eggs are fertile. Some eggs chalk sooner than others. So just to be safe, I leave the non chalked eggs for a minimum of 4 days. Probably overkill, but I like to make sure. 🐢
