61 dogs groomed since the beginning of December. 3 weeks of extra hours and extra days finally come to an end. I am tired. But so thankful this holiday season. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!! 🎄

As a few of you may already be aware, we have lost a precious member of the Fast and Furriest Family. On Monday we were faced with the most difficult decision with our sweet boy Chuck, and yesterday we were given the heartbreaking but incredible honor of helping our sweet boy cross the rainbow bridge in the sky. Thank you to everyone who has been so understanding about having to reschedule and for all the kinds words and thought. Please have patience as we begin this new journey and learn how to navigate life without our darling little man.

Rest in peace my sweet darling. Until we meet again ❤️

Power has been restored! Thank goodness! Please bear with me as I work to get everyone from the past few days worked back into the schedule and get the salon back in order from the flooding. It’s going to be a crazy next few weeks trying to get everyone back on track so please have patience as I reach out to everyone and get dogs rebooked! I appreciate all of my wonderful clients that have commented or reached out with well wishes and offering help during these awful times. My thoughts are with all of those whose lives were uprooted and changed by this storm, and all the souls that have been lost to the devastation or have not been found at this time. Here’s to hoping we can all find some sense of normal in all this chaos. ❤️

Day 3 with no power and no timeframe on when it’s gonna be back on. Will keep everyone updated as we hear progress. Thankful to the dedicated workers at Rutherford Electric and Duke energy as they work to get this mess cleaned up and sorted out.

Also a huge shout out to the Lowe’s food deli in Mountain View, as their hot bar at the Chicken Kitchen is our saving grace. If you are without power and are in need of a hot meal, go to Lowe’s and get a plate for 8.99 with a meat, two sides and a roll or cornbread.

Power is still out with no time frame on when it will be back on, so the salon will remain closed until further notice. Keep us in your thoughts, we have 10 furry babies in our household to keep safe in all of this mess! Hoping that all who are without power get theirs back on soon! ❤️

Fast and Furriest will be closed today due to some water flooding into the shop and power surges. I will keep everyone posted with updates after the storm passes. Please stay safe out there everyone!!

71 animals have entered our facility in less than 72 hours. Cat intake is now temporarily suspended until we can make space for incoming cats and kittens. We URGENTLY need placement for adult cats and kittens. All of our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and current on age appropriate vaccinations. Our adoption fees remained reduced.

I want to share a client that is very dear to my heart, Wrigley. Wrigley is over 19 years old and will be 20 in not too many more months, and is the oldest dog that I groom. His amazing mom helps me tag team him to groom the important areas like his underside, potty area and shaving his face when needed to make sure he stays clean and comfortable. We don’t strive for perfect as to not stress Wrigley out more, but he’s still perfect in my eyes. I love this sweet sassy little man so much ❤️

Before and after of little Sully up at the Humane Society. He was an owner surrender for being too needy, but I thought he was the best boy for grooming and turned out so cute after getting all his matting off ❤️
