Guess what!!! Mosley used his angel wings to deliver two new little brothers to his Fam!! Meet Odie & Gus! 🩷🐾 These sweet boys have brought so much joy back into their new parents' house! Mosley will always be remembered and loved, and now he has sent two little angels down to earth to watch over his mom & dad for him! 😍

Heaven gained their sweetest angel when Mosley crossed the Rainbow Bridge to accept his wings earlier this year. 💔🕊 I was blessed enough to meet this pup in his final year when leaving home for grooming was no longer optimal. So grateful to meet his awesome parents and get to groom him in the comfort of his own home. RIP sweet Mose, forever the little gentleman. 🩷🐾

When this fur client first came to me, her owners were unsure I would even be able to touch this pup, let alone groom her.

This pup was a rescue, and her incredibly patient owners have never given up on her, despite never having really been able to snuggle this pup since bringing her home from the shelter. This girl has severe trust issues from past trauma.

She has been ineligible for grooming at any of the local shops due to her fierce attitude. To get her cleaned up, I have to forego any expectations and forget about style and focus on safety and the wellbeing of the pup. The goal is clean. Period. She does not respond to oral sedatives. An alternative is full sedation & grooming at the dvm. Her owners prefer to avoid this at her age with her less than optimal health concerns.

So patience is key. Going turtle slow is key. Being so grateful for amazing mentors back in Texas, and amazing mentors now, that have all taught me how to safely handle anything aggressive from Chows to Shihzus to Cats to Schnauzers and beyond.

One of my mentors always said "Even the unfriendly ones deserve to get clean." ...and so that's been my motto. No matter how challenging, we must always be willing to think outside the box and find a way to help the animal safely and competently if we can.

After a few grooms, this deaf, visually impaired, ptsd pup has finally gotten a haircut decent enough to take a picture lol. I'm so proud of this pup and her progress! I hope to post even better pics in the future as she continues to build trust and allow us to get her groomed. 🩷🐾

Step by step of Lady's spring spa day!
Lady has poodle & terrier hair, plus an undercoat & an attitude lol! These hair types all require their own set of rules for maintenance... mixing them all together is extra fun! 😄 We got her done & feeling fresh! We don't do all of her nails just yet... we're working our way up to that. For now her dvm handles that part with the help of sedatives. In this case, it's the best choice for this pup's mental & physical health. There is no standard way for everyone, and I love working directly with my clients, their owners and their vet team to find the best solutions for each pet's benefit! 🩷🐾

I wish you could feel a photo... silky perfection! The borzoi coat is to die for! ?

This sweet ancient Borzoi's coat was another casualty of no large dog mobile groomers in his local area. Old guys like sweet Stirling can't handle the travel requirements to go into a shop, and couldn't step up into a van even if there was one available to him. I'm so blessed to have the ability to groom the way I do. I have been able to help so many sweet guys like Stirling here, who's owners have done the absolute best they can without the professional tools required to save coats like these. Borzois have silky coats that do not get shaved or cut, so we pulled out the big guns and were more than satisfied with the results! I could NOT stop running my fingers through this amazing coat! I want a borzoi now, such a cool breed!!

Mikov is incredibly photogenic! 😍
I love this big baby. He is one of my most favorite clients to work with. It has been a journey this year to build trust with him during grooms. A dog once so shy of grooming, none of the local shops felt confident helping him. With nowhere to turn to, I was so happy Mikov invited me out last summer to Barks & Beaks Farm for our first grooming experience together. Now after 4 or 5 grooms, he lets me hold his paws for drying and gave me kisses throughout the grooming process today. I'm so proud of Mikov, he is doing great and is just the best, most handsome boy!!! 🩷🐾
