The new coop.
This is for the younger chicks to go before joining the flock.
Chicks dig it!
Trying to "Go Live" in the country can be a challenge. Trying to show off the new coop and how the birds react when first going out can be recorded and shared in the next post...
LOL
When Morris passed away last year, we were blessed to have good friends bring us three of their catfish. We were heartbroken over Morris and, especially as anti-social as the new fish have been, it's been hard to get as attached to them as we were to Morris. We literally haven't even seen them since we put them in the pond! Well, today I'd like to introduce you to either Larry, his brother Darrell or his other brother Darrell.. we're not exactly sure which. But look how much they've grown!!
How does he know that's where my garden will go?!?
Nothing to see here. Just 4 minutes of evening playtime. ;) but if you have nothing better to do, go ahead and watch till the end. Quite a few cuties and you can see a little of how we can care for so many dogs. Super helpful when you can have group play times. It helps with time management and also teaches dogs some things we as people just can't. (Sorry for the twisty turning video. I need to work on that) ;) -kat
New CABLE TV for the dogs, just hooked up and ready to roll! We're all so excited...except for the dogs!!
THEY CAN'T STAND IT!! We've never seen this before. Saffron has obviously never seen a TV before. LOL
Took me a few seconds to calm King down...he's not a fan of television, in general!
We do not own the rights to this music.
Morning playtime!
Man, I wish I had that kind of energy!!
Walking round the outside with Prieto and ducked off in this newly cleared area for a little peace.. and shade!!
Today we tested one of our rescue boarders, off leash. This is also to give them a little fun time. We had to keep her fun time minimal as she did undergo heartworm treatment @3 weeks ago. We think she did pretty darn good ;)
*** our 5 acre property is fully fenced but we always make sure new tests off leash are only done on microchipped dogs wearing a collar and name tag.
This is Ginger and she is available to adopt through one of our out of state partner rescues. You can message us or comment here is you would like more information about this sweet girl. **added a couple recent pics of ginger in the comments.
