When PEMF is Life
This is what I mean when I say, most pets love it. Daisy NEVER wants to get off the mat.
New Location!
Who is ready for discount small animal sessions to celebrate the new location?! Little more work to do and will be ready to visit with everyone!
She cracks me up. 😂❤️🤦🏼♀️ No fear in this big girl.
Every morning I hunt down his pan and take it in and put it back in the tire. And every morning when I bend down to put the pan in the tire I get pushed in the butt by his chest or nose. He doesn’t let anyone work alone in his barn.
Updated the last photo in the video to a current picture of him. ❤️💪🏼Oct 12, 2022
Kagé and his mom got great news today! No signs of EPM or lymes. The vet said he thinks she’s on the right track with the nutrition, PEMF, and low stress while he recuperates and gets healthy!!! He’s already come a long way in just the last couple of weeks and now maybe his mom can sleep tonight! More small changes bringing big wins!!!
Horses like Buddy are once in a lifetime. He’s the guy that babysits your little ones that are just learning and can turn right around and pull off the fancy footwork. He’s the boy every girl dreams of. When the unicorn doesn’t feel good, it’s all hands on deck so Country Comfort PEMF and Wellness, and Pet Health PEMF are working together along with vets and a nutritionist to try and give this guy our best shot at getting better. You have a tribe behind you Buddy. ❤️💪🏼 (more pictures in comments)
Major Update
Some of you have followed Major’s story, he may be new to some of you. But we had spent around a year trying to get his “medical mystery” figured out. We almost lost him a few times over winter. He had a team of vets and the university on his side and he just kept getting worse. PEMF and nutrition saved his life. He has only improved all summer. He couldn’t get his vaccinations in February when he was due for them because his immune system was struggling. His whole story is posted here on this page. So this fall I decided to go ahead and get his vaccinations and start him back to very light work. We still decided to split them up because of everything he had been through. He got two of them and did fine. No issues at all. We waited about a month and a half and on Tuesday, September 6th, did his rabies and strangles when he got his teeth done. Well, he wasn’t ready. Wednesday my farrier was out and noticed his back legs were swelling and had a lot of heat in them. Ok, probably a reaction from his vaccines. Keep an eye on them for a couple of days. Thursday, his breathing is rapid, heart rate is elevated, and temp is 103.7. I call the vet out for an emergency and he said his immune system is overreacting to the vaccines. He’s having an anaphylactic reaction. Gave him a couple of shots to help him through it and took blood to get a work up. He was a little tender on the front feet but nothing crazy so I thought maybe just because he was just trimmed. Vitals were normal the next day so I started PEMF. He seemed fine through the weekend. Monday he comes loping in for his dinner. PEMF starts wearing off. Tuesday morning about 8am, he doesn’t come in for his feed. I go out to get him and see what’s going on and he can barely walk. Right front looks to be the worst to me but he’s hurting in both. Call the vet, send him a video, I’m pretty sure it’s laminitis but he’s coming to make sure it’s that and not an abscess. I put his cloud boo
It’s best to feed in a pan on the ground for many reasons that help with their digestion. It’s how they were made to eat. This horse thinks everything is a toy and every morning and every evening, we play the, where did Major leave his toy game. Sometimes on the other side of the gate, sometimes on the other side of the fence, sometimes in the round bale, sometimes on the other end of the pasture. 🤦🏼♀️🥴☕️
Today is Kagé’s vet appointment. Let’s all send him and his momma prayers and good vibes for good news! ❤️💪🏼
6 year old German Shepherd with arthritis in his spine. PEMF is wonderful for inflammation reduction which can really help with arthritis pain.
A long read in detail, a shorter watch(very minimal story). I’m not known for being a great story teller, but some things need to be shared. The goal is to help as many people and animals as I can. My unfortunate hard knocks education is my reason why and my drive.
I’m going to tell a long story about a boy that turned my life upside down and set me on a path I couldn’t have imagined for myself. The horse that made me question my love of horses and sanity more than once and in the same breath showed me exactly why I am so obsessed with them and respect them so much.
In November of 2019, a friend of mine bought a two year old stud colt from the sale barn for around $200 that I would eventually name, Major. He was a good looking boy with a kind eye but he was grade and knew nothing. His hooves were neglected and his back legs were swollen. I saw this guy getting pushed off his feed by the other horses. Not only am I a complete sucker for a bay but I have a need to feed everything. This friend of mine is one of the most honest horse people in the business. He knew my history of having horrible luck with horses medically and tried hard not to sell him to me until he knew he would be sound. He got him vetted and gelded and finally gave up on telling me no and sold him to me for what he had in him. I just fell in love with this horse. He wanted nothing but to be with people. Everyone at the barn called him the puppy. He would follow anyone down the fence line begging for attention and would nuzzle anyone that got close enough. I started working with my farrier and my vet to get his legs figured out and hooves in shape. We wrapped his legs for three weeks while wedging his shoes and got him better. We also found he was anemic so we started working on that. Oh dear lord the supplement for that turned him into a maniac for 30 days! This whole time I’m boarding him about 30 minutes from home so I was there before and after work which put a big strain on home
