Dolly just turned 4 years old and is 15.1h tall.
She's pretty and correct in every way. Started undersaddle with no fuss or drama. Dolly is easy and quiet to handle. This is a nice big pretty mare ready to go the direction you choose.
No vices or bad habits.
Current on all cares and her teeth were done about a month ago. 😍

If you think a kid might ever ride it, you'd better do weird things with it first. You can be guaranteed the kiddo will do all the weird things and the horse should be like "yea buddy. If you say so" . 😂

She wasn't and "easy" horse to start undersaddle. She was sensitive and reactive and gave me a run for my money over the rainy cold winter. Thanks to her patient owner, I was able to keep her for 4 months and when she left I was finally excited to ride her. I just LOVE updates like this. ❤️

Maple knocked her first ride right out of the park. She was super quiet, willing and soft. I try to set them up so that the first ride is simple and quiet. I don't want them upset or worried over it. I have someone in the round pen with me, who can help the horse understand what is being asked of it. About Me

What can I say, if it involves horses, ponies, or mules I am all in.

I did not grow up in a horse family and was not raised around them. I always wanted to be with horses however, and found them as soon as I could. I got my start at a camp as a teenager riding lesson horses. It was not long after that I was guiding trail rides and giving riding lessons myself. My favorite time was Summer Camp time where it was horses all day every day 24/7 and I got to see many kids blossom once horseback.

From my time at the camp my focus has always been on the well rounded and "safe" horse above all else.

I carried that with me while exercising Thoroughbreds at Lone Star Park, training barrel horses, starting American Saddlebreds under saddle, loping cutting horses, training draft horses and everything in between.
