Mission statement for our in home foster based 501c3 animal rescue-KAKF is a 501c3 group of volunteers who's passion for animals has led us into the animal rescue community. We focus on local animals that are homeless, neglected, abused, or need rehomed, and bring them to safety. We give them proper care, then connect them with they're perfect family. Our goal is to educate, rehabilitate, and pro

vide information on low-cost vet services, and education to end the mistreatment, and overpopulation of animals.

Come do some Christmas shopping at the Rescue festival . Some vendors there to sell, Tara will have Mary Kay also , come visit some animals and maybe find your forever animal. Donations go to the rescue.

Busy rescue day!!!
2 dogs pulled from Kendall County Animal Control and Adoption Center....
❤️🐾A17yr old senior(blind, and deaf) owner died family dropped this poor guy off. We took him right away to get him in a loving foster home(probably going to be hospice).
❤️🐾Also a 5yr old Shipoo severely matted with f***s, urine, and fitlth, emaciated only weighing 5lbs, no vetting, needed a loving foster that will give very specialized care with a 3hour feeding schedule, tons of TLC!!!!
THEN...DRUMROLL 3 CAT ADOPTIONS HALLELUJAH!!!!!!❤️🐈🐈‍⬛🐈
Linus, Fletcher, and Archie went to they're forever homes tonight!!!!!! Yes!!! So THANKFUL!!!! Bre Yano and I tag teamed helping everyone get theyre kitties, supplies, pics, and adoptions complete.
❤️❤️❤️This week our rescue has taken a bottle baby kitten, and pitbull, a shepard, a senior pup, and a Shipoo all from Kendall County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Adopt Valentine, is a 4 yr old, female, Dutch rabbit. She came in from animal control and has been struggling to trust people. She takes a long time to warm up to people and trust them but once she does she does enjoy attention. She loves her head being scratched and is even starting to trust being held. She also loves treats and can be won over with food. She is not intimidated by the dog in the foster home at all. She is very tidy and prefers to go potty in one section of her cage. She needs an experienced owner who will help her adjust and calm down. Someone who can teach her that people aren't all bad. She would not do well with children and is very independent. She is fixed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $100. If you or someone you know might be interested in her please contact me or Kat & Kritter's Foundation

Home for the Holidays!
We have some long term fosters that we are hoping can find homes before the new year. Thank you to Pamper-Me-Pretty BY Tara N CREW and Racer Design Studio these two cats have their adoption fee sponsored!
Lily, gray tabby, is a very sweet female kitty who has been in the rescue since she was a baby (May 2023). She was very skittish at first and took a while to build some confidence but now she is the perfect young lady. She loves to cuddle and be pet and has very good manners. She is too overwhelmed by little kids and doesn't care for dogs but does great with other cats.
Pico de Gato, black, is a very sweet young boy. He entered the rescue in Jan 2024 and had a few medical issues that we had to work out before he could be ready to go.. He is now all cleared and healthy and is such a calm, friendly guy. He would love a nice chill home to hang out in.

Snow is helping with a puzzle this morning and Rocket is supervising the meeting in the office. These guys are super friendly, especially Snow who started the puzzle snuggled in a lap, and great with kids. They have been in the rescue for almost a year now and all they want for Christmas is a home of their very own. Email us at [email protected] if you are interested.

This Friday September 20th...Inspiring Wellness Counseling and Coaching has generously committed to matching all donations for our $5 Friday. We have 20 kittens that need fixing and full vetting, 3dogs as well. We are raising funds to go directly to our increasing vet bills. Your generosity makes it possible to continue to help animals in our current animal crisis. Shelters, rescues, and sanctuary are FULL. UNFORTUNATELY we are loosing thousands a day due to donations being down, not enough fosters, and the rapid numbers being surrendered on a daily basis. Every penny helps.
