Come join us at Old World Libations 12-6pm for their Annual Earth Day Event! 🌎

We are excited for all the vendors and food trucks that will be there!! Old World Libations is a great place to come and socialize or relax with their delicious wines, meads, and our favorite....Charcuterie Boards! Delicious! 🎉

Riverside Kitten Rescue will have their "Adopt-A-Kitten" (stuffed animals)! Each cat is named after a special kitten we have had in our rescue!
They each come with:
-A personalized story card & adoption certificate.
-A collar with their name that you can wear as a bracelet.

We will have baked goods, some pet jackets and harnesses, and hand made cat-nip kitty toys!!!🐈‍⬛️

Last, but not least, we will have our Stuffed Kitty Eggs! For $1.00, you get to pick and egg! Each egg has a small kitty inside with a little treat! Could be a sticker or a candy! The best surprise is finding out what color kitty you pick! 😍

BLOSSOM & LUNA

We are thrilled to share that Blossom & Luna were adopted together last week! ❤️

This is a very special adoption for us. Normally, we are only asked for babies. Both kitties were almost full grown.

Blossom was about 5-6 months old when she was found in one of the bad snow storms. She found a home with no other houses or neighbors around for a long ways and was trying to get inside for warmth. She was very malnourished, severely dehydrated, and had the beginnings of an upper respiratory infection.

Luna came to us when a good samaritan found her and her babies outside near her shed. Luna was from a very large cat colony. When we picked Luna up, only one baby was alive out of 5. Unfortunately, the baby was already almost passed. Luna was very distraught. She was a healthy weight, but had more than normal discharge, after having birthed her babies almost 4-6 days prior. We brought her to the vet, asap where they fixed her right away. She was treated for ear mites, and got extra nutrients to help her fur grow back around her neck where she was being mated too much.

Blossom was affectionate and so full of energy from the start. Luna, though timid at first to new people and new surroundings, she warmed up within a few days. We expected her to be feral, but she wasnt! Luna is super sweet and loves her humans! Luna was still nervous to strange cats, but was warming up to Blossom a little more each day.

They both stole our hearts and we just had to keep them and try to find them forever homes. We just knew they would do great in the right situation. We had no idea they would be adopted together!

We are so thankful JoBeth reached out to us, when she was looking for her new companions. We have had a few videos and photos for updates. These kitties are being completely spoiled rotten and most of all loved! They are becoming best buds and slowly playing togetger, sharing the cat tower, and even starting to groom each other!

It warms our hearts that they all found each other. This is exactly the home they needed to be in! ❤️

Here’s the cold hard truth. You’re breeding them by not fixing them faster than we can save them, even faster than they are being euthanized! The only humane way to prevent suffering and euthanasia is to prevent them from being born in the first place!

Save lives by spaying and neutering your pets and community cats. Need help? Just ask. We and other rescues want to help! The more animals we help spay and neuter now, the less we’ll have to help in the future🐈‍⬛💜

Cats don’t discriminate! They’ll mate with their siblings, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, great grandparents, etc 🫣😖👎

If the kittens even survive, they’ll likely suffer with numerous deformities and abnormalities, and won’t live long healthy lives.

You can prevent this by spaying and neutering your pet cats and stray community cats BEFORE they reach sexual maturity at 4 months of age. At 4 months old, kittens CAN and WILL get pregnant. Male kittens will mate with their mothers and littermates.
Stop the cycle, spay and neuter!

Riverside Kitten Rescue currently has only 2 fosters and about 5-6 volunteers. We just started kitten explosion and can do so much more if we had more helpers.

Volunteering is so much more than JUST being able to foster for us. We have a place for everyone no matter age or experience!

Come down and see us from 11am-1pm at Hinton's Historic Frieght Depot!
