Some of our customers have been asking, “What ever happened to Dancing Dog Dairy?”
So I thought I would give an update with an appeal to help me fund my new passion project. Here is where they are:
Eldest has found her home in academia. She will likely never stop writing and studying and teaching.
Boy is here in the Bay Area, being a stay-at-home boyfriend and doing odd jobs for mom.
Middle is in Oregon, working for a law office with the goals of a MSW in the future.
Sassy pants is in Malibu at college. She is getting the final few skills needed to become Impress of the Universe.
Baby Girl is still at home, studying and swimming. She is on the threshold of becoming another inspiring adult.
I’ve gone back to what I did before they were born, and am teaching at-risk children in title 1 schools.
This fills a part of the hole the children left when they grew up. My objective is to teach the whole child, not just their brain. I teach social skills, calming strategies, and every kind of art I can think of. Today, I’m
Asking your help to teach cooking.
This is a priority for me, not only because it is very bonding, and supports reading and math skills, but also because families don’t always have the time to teach children to cook from scratch.
If you can donate, it will help me get the tools I need to give my students a new skill and experience the satisfaction of a job well done.
