Morgan Retriever Training Update
Morgan Retriever Training Update

Morgan is making excellent progress in his training! He has started learning how to stay in commands and is picking it up quickly. He’s understanding that once I give him a command, he must stay in it until I say the release word, "free," or recall him with "here." If he breaks a command, I give a verbal warning, saying "no, command," for example, "no, place." If he doesn’t follow through after the warning, I’ll correct him with the prong collar and repeat the verbal warning until he returns to the command. Overall, he’s doing fantastic!Additionally, Morgan did a great job retrieving a frozen bird! I’m also excited to announce that he has passed the gundog evaluation with ease! Moving forward, we will continue to focus on building his prey/retrieve drive, as well as formalizing his retrieve skills.He’s on a great path, and I’m excited to see him continue to progress! We are so proud of our boy!
