Some males I am waiting on to see if their temperment stays gentle. Both are cinnamon colored. The boy with the face stripe is a badger pattern being worked on and the other, mostly white is high white pie bald. The lone red eyed male seems to be an argente colored badger pattern. 😊

These are two different mouse litters and they are all agouti. Some have whote on them and I am going to selectively breed for less.

My sweetest soft fur by far. I have just been calling her sweet baby. Very mild mannered and not easy to stress out. She willingly walks onto my hand from her enclosure at times. She is a cinnamon coat.

Just a close up of some babies. You can see some have dark spots where their eyes are developing and some have red. You can actually tell the eye color (between brown and red) at birth.

Another pregnant mama (cinnamon) and a unrelated/non-father male. He is so petrified he doesn't move when you pick him up. Doesn't try to bite either though.

I have two "Badger Marked" cinnamon females. With them I am going to breed agouti into the pattern and work towards a more consistant pattern.

Here I have this what appears to be a red/pink eyed male. He is not albino, he has a small tanish patch on his back. He is likely also agouti based since solid colors have not been documented in soft furs yet. I am going to use him to try and add more to the gene pool and expose more variations.

I have a pair of agouti soft fur females, very skittish. Am going to try to improve temperment by each generation. I also noticed some soft furs tend to stay "fluffier" than others and I am going to aim towards that as well.

My only pair of soft furs that are able to be held regularly so far. The one on the right will actually willingly crawl onto my hand and up my arm. These two girls will be the first to be bred for temperment.
