If you have ever wanted or needed to go on a trip while owning horses you know it can be almost overwhelming trying to find the right person to watch the homestead while you are away. I completely understand the stress involved with trying to find a horse sitter. Especially one that will treat your equine family members with the up most care and respect they deserve. To help ease your mind, I offer a free no obligation consultation where I get to watch your routine and get to know you & your horse a bit more. During this time I will gather the information I will need in order to provide your horse with the individual care they need. This also allows you to watch me interact with them beforehand.
Lets face it most everyday small animal sitters often do not have the experience needed to work with horses or other farm animals such as chickens, goats, sheep, pigs or cows. These animals need proper diets, grooming, hoof care and a confident experienced handler. Most small animal sitters do not know what the signs of distress or injury look like in equines and livestock. Nor do they understand when a simple at home treatment might be appropriate or when it’s time to call in your trusted large animal veterinarian. Let me take that stress away and provide you with a option to have a experienced and knowledgeable equestrian and animal lover watch your beloved animals.
You might be wondering why you should trust me with your equine friends and to that I say, I have over 15 years of hands on experience with horses. I was riding before I could walk and I always knew horses would be a huge part of my life. I own 3 mares each with a completely different personality and maintenance requirement. I have owned and cared for many different species of poultry and livestock, not to mention the small animals I’ve owned and loved over the years. I’m currently attending college to become a veterinary technician with the hopes of one day becoming a large animal veterinarian myself. I’m a avid animal lover and will care for your 4-legged family members like they are one of my own. Additionally I'll provide you with a detailed report and pictures during/after each visit to help ease your mind while you are away.
I provide add-on care services for other livestock, such as:
• Goats, sheep & cattle
• Ducks, chickens, geese & other feathered friends
• Traditional hogs & potbelly pigs
• Most other outdoor feathered or furry critters
• Indoor pet sitting available as an add-on service as wellfor cats, dogs, fish & rodents.
