Otter & Lae’zell are two female kittens who came to us as a result of Hurricane Helene. While they are not biological sisters, they are chosen sisters who met at 7 weeks old. We would love to see these girls find a home together!

Yesterday Pawfect Match had the privilege of taking in 14 dogs that survived living in horrendous conditions alongside 150 other dogs in Florida. Animal Corp saved these sweet dogs & we are honored we were able to take in the ones we could. Stay tuned as these pups settle into their foster homes and we learn more about their personalities as true pets. #pawfectmatch
Over the course of 24 hours, Pawfect Match has taken on 11 dogs and 6 cats displaced from the wreckage in Western North Carolina as a result of Hurricane Helene. By some miracle, we were able to coordinate transport from the mountains to Winston, Winston to Raleigh, and then Raleigh to their forever homes. Our amazing group of fosters in Winston-Salem were able to pull together donations from Best4K9, Pet Supermarket & Black Dog Grooming Company so that the dogs were able to be sent to their fosters with some of the best food, treats and toys! At first, we expected to hold these dogs until fosters could be located, but our incredible community came together and just as quickly as we were able to get the dogs, we were able to place them in foster homes. A lot of these dogs are scared, and will need love and medical care to get back to the dogs they were before this disaster.
