G & C Petting Zoo

G & C Petting Zoo We are a traveling petting zoo and usually take 12-15 animals to each site. Miniature donkeys, calves, sheep, goats, rabbits, pig, tortoise are available.

We like to set up our pens in grassy, shady areas.

Lots of children today at CCDC in Topeka with children aged 5 and under. It took some of the children a few minutes to warm up to the animals but soon they were petting the rabbit, pig and tortoise in the orange boxes. Goats are always a hit. Fun morning!

It was a very hot day in Scranton but we were in the shade and the strong breeze made the over 90 degree temp bearable. As you can see we had some cute visitors. Wilma the Water Buffalo was a big hit as were the Watusi and Zebu calves. The goats llama and pig were popular too.

We were at Ozawkie this morning with our petting zoo and we got soaked as well as did all the animals. Thankful they had tents set up for us. We were surprised we had as many people as we did petting the animals. A highlight for us was the Topeka High School drum line. They were good!!!

Today we were at the Veterinary Medical & Surgical Hospital of Topeka for their 30th anniversary. Yesterday we were at a rest home in Topeka. The animals did great! Wilma the water buffalo was a favorite.

Today we took our petting zoo to Topeka High School for their senior prank. A bunch of kids came out to the yard where we were set up. Some weren’t too sure about the animals but soon were seen loving on the goats, lambs, donkeys, pigs, rabbit, tortoise, water Buffalo, Watusi calf, llama, etc. We got rained on setting up but the rain held off for the 1 1/2 hrs we were there. We were impressed with the kids!!!
