⭐️Dallas is looking for his forever home!⭐️

Dallas is approximately six months old, and as sweet as they come! I had the pleasure of working with him today, and I’m genuinely sad I can’t take him home myself. Dallas came from an unfortunate situation, but is now in a very loving foster home (with small children). He is a very mellow guy for the most part but has his moments of excitement. He did absolutely amazing for his first grooming today and is great with other dogs. If you’re interested in adopting this angel please contact Paws Rescue League Inc.

for those of you with double coated breeds, this article explains why shaving your double coated breed is not recommended 🐾

Don't shave your dog, as it might make them hotter in summer and creates health risks. Instead, try these grooming and safety tips to keep them cool.

I’m excited to say that I’ve officially been a certified groomer for 10 years! 🥳 I wanted to thank all of our clients who come to see us at the paw spa. Running my own grooming salon has been so rewarding. I’ve met so many wonderful people and pups over the last 10 years. Im now seeing some of my very first clients enter into their senior years. It’s so special to me to be their groomer throughout all stages of their lives 🥹💜

Grooming is my passion, and I cannot express enough how lucky I am to have a job I truly love. And as a bonus I get to do it alongside two amazing people. Kiersten and Sam are extraordinary and extremely hard working. They both have compassion and love for the pups they work with and it shows. Thank you Sam, Kiersten and Lori for all you do, the paw spa wouldn’t be the same without you 🩷

In 2024 I’ll be joining seminars to learn from some of the greatest groomers to continue my education and learn new skills ✂️🛁🐾

Spruced up for Spring 🌷

As much as we love to meet new furry friends, we are taking another break from taking new clients. We plan to take new clients again this September.

We do have room to take in new dogs who only need a bath, and not a haircut. Unfortunately we can only do so many haircuts in a day 🐩🛁🐾

🦨 If your pup has a skunk encounter, the best thing you can do is use mouthwash first. Water sets skunk oil, mouthwash will absorb that oil. 🦨

If you are a new client and wish to book with us, please text me your first and last name, your dogs name, age, breed, weight, rabies vaccination, anything special we should know about your pup, and what days typically work best for your schedule. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Please do not come into the shop to book an appointment.

I’m sure many of you have heard about the respiratory canine illness that is going around. If you haven’t heard about it, please look up information on it. We have not had any dog illnesses in the Paw Spa, and would very much like to keep it that way. If your dog is experiencing coughing, runny eyes, runny nose, or any other symptoms please keep them home and call your vet. Thank you all 🐶

Some of our furry friends who are holiday ready! Starting now and through the month of December we will be collecting donations to support Dakin humane society. Donations can include fleece blankets, canned dog or cat food, towels, toys, and lightly used pet items 🐶🎄⭐️

Today marks 3 wonderful years of being open at PaperCity Paw Spa. None of this would have been possible if it wasn’t for my amazing family who helped us get the renovation done to make this space what it is today. I am so thankful every day for all the help we received.
Another special thank you to our amazing clients. We have met so many amazing people and pups the last few years 🥰
and a HUGE thank you to Kiersten, Sam and Lori for being the absolute best. We are so lucky to have such dedicated staff who I truly love to work with. This place would not be the same without them ❤️

Our December schedule is filling in quickly. Starting today we will not be accepting new clients until after the new year. We’d like to keep our schedule more open to our regular clients for the holiday season.

As always, I really appreciate patience when booking appointments. Unfortunately I don’t get to answer my phone as much as I’d like. But I will get back to you as soon as I can! I’m busy grooming, and busy being a mom of 3. Sure a receptionist would be wonderful, but I like to make our schedules myself to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. For those of you who aren’t aware, we do have a no show/ late cancelation policy. I explain this policy to every client when booking an appointment with us. We need 24 hour notice to cancel or reschedule any appointments. If we are given late notice, or no notice, customer will be charged a $60 fee. In the last 2 weeks we have had 10 people no call no show us. This takes commission away from my staff, and that’s just not fair. We send out appointment reminders 24 hours prior. Please have consideration and cancel your appointments if you don’t plan on coming. We have a long list of people waiting to get in.
If you need to cancel or reschedule , please call or text me directly at 413-559-7916. If you call, leave me a voicemail. Please do not reply to our automated reminder system. It will prompt you to contact me directly.

Gorgeous pups! They smell and feel as great as they look. When your pup comes for a visit at the Paw spa they will leave smelling and looking their best. We don’t use any perfumes at our salon. Just the best shampoos and conditioners for our furry friends 🐾🛁🐕
