Update on C**ton.
Hey everyone. There's a lot going on but I'll do my best to provide a proper update for you all.
As most of you know, C**ton was in a very serious 4 wheeler accident Monday evening and life flighted to Children's Hospital in Greenville SC.
C**ton has suffered from a tramatic brain injurie, he has several brain bleeds, several fractures on the left side of his face, a laceration above his eye and a small fracture to his vertebrae. Both of his lungs are badly bruised as well. The doctors drilled a hole in his head to help relieve pressure from the brain and drain any infection. He's been back and forth battling a fever so the doctors have decided to put a pic line in for him. He was breathing somewhat on his own yesterday. But today the machine is doing all the work for him. As of right now he is in an induced coma. The neurologist confirmed C**ton suffered from at least two strokes and has permanent brain damage on the left side of his brain. He also has a blood clot in his carotid artery. Please please please continue to pray for C**ton and his family. They're going to need it more then ever in the next couple days. Lord please give C**ton the strength to pull through this and come out on top. We love you C**t and we're all rooting for you!

I pray that everyone that steps foot on the farm feels encouraged. That they leave believing in themselves just a little more than they did before.

That they learn to live and move gently, on and off of the horse.

That they learn true horsemanship and that horses are more than point and go. Every horse has value. They are emotional beings who feel. They teach who you are inside. I hope kids learn the art of listening to the horse rather than telling them what to do.

I hope they feel safe. Not just safe in learning to ride and coexist with horses, but that they know that the barn is a safe haven for them. It is a place they can always go to disconnect from our fast-paced world. To reconnect with themselves and God’s creation. A true safe place through their years of growing up.

I am far from perfect, and my horses are not perfect either, but I pray that the Lord would continue to use all things for His good and His glory.
