To think it’s not even actually summer yet😅

As a flower grower in Florida, you get a weird sideways look when telling people you don’t grow through summer. I blame the blooms and say they don’t like the Extreme heat, humidity, and bugs going crazy. But truly I am in 100% agreement with them 😀 although we don’t get out of it quite that easy. We will be cutting anything/everything that’s left. Then it’s time to feed and amend the soil. And Time to start seedlings for fall blooms 🌱

Feeling extra thankful today. I realize not everyone has “that person” ..that person you can always call on, always count on , they are always willing to help when you need it. So if you have that person, treasure them! And make sure they know you appreciate them 💛 and will be their person.

The last 6+ months we have only been offering wholesale. But starting May 1 we will open up retail sales again, just in time for Mother’s Day!!

Almost dahlia time again! We’ve been planting away, and I have to stay focused on the beauty it brings, in order to make it through all the labor Most definitely a labor of love🤗

In typical me fashion, I took longer than planned, But I’m really excited to share these dried floral wreaths that I’ve been working on !

But this is what I want to do different. Instead of selling these , I’m asking for donations to
CASA Citrus . This organization is so very important to our community! If you’re not familiar, They are a safe place for women to escape domestic violence; A place women can receive the support , education , and encouragement they need to move forward into the healthy relationships they deserve .
The work they do CASA Citrus is huge! And quite frankly, I am honored to support them in this way, and hope you guys agree

Oh gorgeous dahlias, it’s so hard to say goodbye! But it’s time these tubers be pulled from the soil so they can have a little rest before I put them back to work 💪
Wish I could say the same for myself😅 but in the growing world, it’s go time ! We’re getting the beds amended and planted out for spring.
