We raise ADGA purebred Nigerian Dwarf goats, Goldendoodles, chickens, ducks, New Zealand and standard Rex rabbits, emu's and hopefully Great Pyreneese soon.

It is with a huge heavy heart that I am creating this post. I have made the painful decision to downsize my goat herd. Having 30 pet goats just isn’t practical or working anymore.

They are all ADGA registered Nigerian dwarf dairy goats. All are females that have been disbudded or polled. They all have blue eyes except for 1 of them and most were bottle raised. Many have moonspots as well.

These are my babies and I will be extremely selective about where they are rehomed. Serious inquiries only. They are between 3-5 years old.

I have 7 does/doelings and 2 bucks UFD currently. They all have blue eyes, all are adga registered Nigerian dwarfs, all
are super friendly and ready for their new Farms. All are disbudded and few are polled, the first two pictures are polled. Located in Honea Path, SC. None of the does are pregnant or in milk.

All 29 of our 2022 kids have been spoken for and found their new farm families. 26 out of the 29 kids were born with blue eyes and lots of kids have been born with moonspots too. Thankfully, we have had zero losses this breeding season 🙌😍. We have 1 doe left to deliver (possibly 3 in all) for this spring breeding season. I will keep you posted. Thank you everyone for your interest in our precious kids from the Grateful Herd. We are planning for some fall 2022 deliveries as well. Here are some pictures of our kids born this spring.

Silly Lady May and sweet Annabelle getting some love.

Since we have been focused on our Nigerian Dwarfs lately I though I would give you a cowgirl love update. Lady May is our micro mini and Annabelle is our mini Highpark heifers. They truly are one of my greatest lifelong dreams that finally came true. They absolutely LOVE having their hair brushed, treats, attention and are so silly and fun🤗. I have to send out a huge thank you to Hayden Keistler at https://familycirclefarms.com/ for helping to make my dream come true. Also a HUGE thank you to my fabulous husband, Jeremy Houghtaling for FINALLY caving and saying, “yes”. I have been begging, yes, literally begging (I’m not too proud) for the perfect cowgirls for several years. What can I say, a girl knows what she wants when she wants it 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣👌. Just sayin.....if you can’t make it out to the pasture and your daughter is the best, she will see to it that your “kids” will come to surprise visit you instead. I may have a few (or a lot) of cracker crumbs, some loose goat turds and a half a bale of hay in my bed that now smells like a goat 🥰 but I will treasure the moment and all of the souvenirs Ripple left behind. We had a wonderful visit and my heart is full of love. Thank you Alexis Houghtaling for making my day brighter! You are so kind and I love you so much💕
