I did raindrop therapy on Bounty the other day and got a lot more out of him than I expected! Hank absolutely loved smelling the oils and kept coming in and licking and smiling. I love these guys!

It's so nice to be home and on my horse again! Bounty has had so much time off but he was really good! He did think a couple squirrels may eat him but it's an understandable fear!

I was working on a horse yesterday and after warming it up and opening the the neck when I was going along the crest treating when I reached the trapezius he has a massive pop in his back right by his hip! It was so cool! Than I found that his hip on that side was out and his stiffle was really out! This is on a project horse i just started working with and that was the only leg that he had been giving me problems picking up. After his massage he picked it up like a gem. He'd been moving fine previously but you could definitely tell the difference in his stance afterwards! Sometimes they aren't just being turds 😉

With Texas fastly approaching I'm trying my best to get as much time on Bounty as I can before leaving. I don't run him often but we both enjoyed it today! What a good boy 🥰

Mr. Bounty has had a good amount of time off but 3 rides and he's good to go again! Such a good boy! Now to decide if/when he becomes a Texas boy!

Thermal imaging is a super useful tool! It allows you to read heat patterns ti gain a better understanding of what's going on under the surface

First picture is an abscess brewing, second picture you can see a bad tooth, and in the third picture I checked a saddle fit to find it was bridging.

Raindrop therapy is a wonderful tool utilizing essential oils to help our ponies feel their best!

- it detoxes the body and strengthens their immune system, especially the ones that compete and have to travel as well as horses that had a traumatic experience, trauma, injury, surgery or are just not doing so great.

- it re-aligns their spine by working the oils into the muscles along the spine through different massage techniques the spine has the ability to re-align itself. It's also great for horses that have sore backs.

- its emotionally uplifting, especially for those that suffer from stress and anxiety.

Kinesiology taping, also know as KT tape, increases bloodflow and the circulation of lymphatic fluid to cleanse and heal inflammation without the use of medications or surgery. It supports muscles, ligaments, and joints in turn deterring the overstretching or over-contraction. KT tape is shown to increase healing as well. I absolutely love this stuff!

Today's adventures! Took some kiddos down the road and than let them play around in the round pen for a little. I put a really nice ride in on Bounty and tried to record it but I forgot to flip the camera so I now have a 23 minute video of the road 😂😢

Great ride today with a great friend in great weather! Bounty tried out a big boy bit today for the first time. Lots to be done but he's a good egg.

On a different note feast your eyes upon my beautiful new Brenderup Royal HB! This thing pulls like a dream and is so easy to back up and maneuver! Took about 13 hours of driving on Friday to pick it up but it was so worth it!

Great show today! Bountys first time showing english and he got 3rd in hunter over fences out of a really nice class! We also brought home champion western horse & rides!

It was just too pretty not to get some pictures after our short ride! I worked a little on getting our new dog used to the horses as I plan on taking her along on some trails! What a nice day!

Setting up the jump course is a huge pain but it was so worth it! He's definitely getting braver! We both have work to do but I'm proud of the little man!

Today marks 1 year with Bounty! I'm still not sure that I'll keep him forever but he is a dang good horse! Bounty is a 3 year old who I can go show on then turn around and throw a kid that's never been on a horse before on him without having to worry. On Saturday while riding him I decided he was ready and took off the bridle mid ride and he didn't change at all. If this is him with a year of work at 3 years old I can only imagine him down the road. Happy gotcha day Mr Bo!

Great day yesterday with little Maddy! She rode Hank on our trail ride but I put her on Bounty for her lesson! This was her first full lesson with me on my horses and I think I'm gonna be having my horse stolen 😂 Bounty was so good for her and she said her legs hurt 👍

Did you know that very extra 1 cm of toe length increases the force on the deep digital flexor tendon by 110 pounds. Most injuries don’t “just happen”. It’s repetitive strain and/ pressure. There is an old saying "no hoof, no horse" and that couldn't be more true!

Little Maddy had the time of her life today! Benifit gaming fun show today and both horses did very well considering Hank is an ex-amish field horse turned trail pony and Bounty is a ranch and hunter pony 😂😂 Little Maddy did a fabulous job with Hank though and we both had a blast!

Early morning with a long trailer ride and a lot of riding for him today but he was still happy to give a ride to little Josh! Couldn't ask for a better mind on a 3 year old!!

Today was our first day working on it and Bounty laid down for me! He is such a joy! After our lesson he got some nice scratches 🤗

Training is training and things don't always go smoothly but thats something that God often uses to show me things in my life. Through life's hardships it's so easy to get discouraged and give up but Joshua 1:9 says "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” I think that says it all! There is someone working against us who wants us to live in depression, anxiety, and defeat but he has already been defeated by someone who loves us and has a wonderful plan for us! Don't be discouraged and take joy in the blessings and beauty God's surrounded us with!
