🐾 Kaili worked tremendously hard and has lost 10 pounds! 🔥 We are so proud of her and her family for putting in all the hours to accomplish this goal! 💪🏼

Toshi received a dental cleaning last week! 🦷🪥

💭 Ever wonder why your pet has to undergo general anesthesia for a dental cleaning?

🐾 Having them under anesthesia ensures a stress free experience and minimize the pain or discomfort. It also allows for us to clean under the gum line, where majority of dental disease in pets occur, and guarantees optimal oral health!

🩺 We do pre-operative bloodwork before anesthetizing a patient, use IV fluids to help with kidney function, and a technician is monitoring the patients heart rate, blood pressure, respiration rate, temperature and EtCO2 during the entire procedure.

🩵Any questions regarding a dental procedure? 📞 Call us at (808) 453-5000 to inquire with us today!

Here are 5 tips to keep your pet safe and calm during a storm! ⛈️

1. Create a safe haven! 💙 Thunder can be scary, choose a room where they can go to get away from the noise. Add their favorite toys and blankets to provide a sense of security. 🎶 Music or TV can be used to drown out the noise as well!

2. Keep them distracted! 🧩 Puzzles and other interactive games can be used to lower stress levels.

3. Keep them indoors! 🏡 When some pets get spooked by loud noises, they may make a run for it! Make sure they are kept multiple doors away from the front.

4. Identification tags and microchips increase the chances of a safe return in case your pet takes off! 🐾

5. Comfort them using products such as ThunderShirts or calming diffusers. 📞Please contact us today at (808) 453-5000 if you are interested in anti-anxiety medication! 🩵
