ADOPTED!
Have your heart stolen by miss Cleo!
This sweet girl found a nice human at a hiking site and followed them around a bit before hopping in their car and begging to be rescued. Very thin but clearly previously owned, she must have had a family before. It is all too common for dogs to be abandoned on Guam for various reasons - maybe her family moved away or fell on hard times, maybe she went into heat, or maybe they simply just didn't want her.
Since going home with her rescuer, we have learned the following about Cleo:
-she adores children
-great with other dogs
-she is house trained!
-sits on command
-walks great on a leash
-she's about 1-2yo and 20lbs
Her rescuer searched for her prior owner to no avail. We would like to find this sweet girl a home. They love her so much that they are helping offset her flight costs π just so they can see a happy ending for this wonderful dog. Message us to see more videos and photos with kids and dogs!
The adoption fee for Cleo is $500
This includes all her transit costs and necessary requirements and vetting to clear her to fly. She will be flying in November.
If you are ready to apply, fill out an application:
www.boonieflightproject.com/adoption-application
How it works:
β€οΈWe will review applications over the next few days, and select the best adopters that fit the pups needs, as well as ideal flight itineraries (if willing to drive long distance to pick up pup, please specify in application)
β€οΈWe will notify the lucky selected family.
β€οΈOnce the non-refundable adoption donation is made, we will mark the pup reserved and stop accepting applications for them.
β€οΈWe then prep the pup for flying, including obtaining certification of health from a veterinarian
β€οΈThe pup will fly off island to Honolulu where they stay for a night or two to rest up and wait for their connecting flight to you.
β€οΈYou will collect your new family member at an airport near you and live a long and happy life with your Boonie!
