Meet Dana 🌺
Dana has a genuine passion for animals and their wellbeing. With lifelong animal care experience. She has professional background in animal medical care, dog training, dog daycare & boarding. After acquiring her Master Groomer Certificate in 2000 from the New York School of Dog grooming, she continued to develop her craft as an apprentice on Manhattans Upper West Side. Over the following 3 years she fine tuned her skills, thus becoming Salon Grooming Manager. In 2005 Dana moved to Scottsdale Arizona, where she spent 2 years learning techniques at a high end Salon. From there she spent 2 years styling in San Diego, CA. Returning to her hometown in CT in 2009. Dana worked an additional 5 years at a small town grooming Salon. In 2014, Dana opened her own Specialty Service dog salon. Catering to Special needs dogs. After several successful years in Business she decided to follow a new venture which brought her here to Honolulu in February of 2021 Specializing in Scared/Nervous dogs. Providing comfort and compassion to all dogs in her care. She has vast knowledge of dog behavior and has attained versatility in grooming technique. She offers a calming controlled comfort to dogs. Although she attains excellent hand scissor skills and all breed show quality grooming. Dana most enjoys providing service to Scared/Nervous dogs as well as Puppies and Senior dogs. Dana is a genuine dog lover with 20plus years in the grooming industry.
