We got lots of animals looking for their forever homes through Ohana Rescue Paws (Oahu) our private rescue page. Must answer membership questions to join group and fill out application if interested)

Reba - 4 month, min pin/doxie mix - 9 lbs
Ren - 4 month, chihuahua mix - 8 lbs
Rex - 4 month, chihuahua mix - 9 lbs
Jake - 4-5 month old, terrier mix - 7 lbs (set to be neutered and vaccinated on 3/6)
Roam - 1 year old, Lab/Shephard mix, about 60-70 lbs
Kane- 2 year old Exotic Bully, about 40-50 lbs (set to be neutered and vaccinated on 2/28)
Poppy - 4 month old Hound mix - about 25 lbs
Daisy - 4 month old Hound mix - about 25 lbs
Bud - 4 month old Hound mix, about 30 lbs (set to be neutered and vaccinated on 2/28)
Milo - 2 year old pit mix, about 60-65 lbs
Romeo - 4 month old terrier mix - 7 lbs
Rosie - 4 month old terrier mix - 7 lbs
Hope - 3 month old Pitbull - approx 8 lbs (set to be spayed and vaccinated on 2/29)
Faith - 3 month old Pitbull - approx 16 lbs (set to be spayed and vaccinated on 2/29)

Other than those noted that are on schedule to be spayed/neutered, the others have already been spayed/neutered, and brought up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on heartworm prevention. More info on all these pups in the Featured Section as well of Rescue page.

Accepting Applications for Foster to Adopt because we want to make sure it is the right fit for this sweet boy. Please read entire post, app is at the bottom.
This is Kailo (recently Keo), a husky who is 2 years old. He is fixed, potty trained, microchipped and UTD on vaccines as far as we know. He would do great in a home with a single person, couple, or older kids who know enough to respect the dogs boundaries. He’s good with other dogs, but NOT good with cats. He is a sweet loving boy to and does not have aggression issues, but also does not appreciate when little ones fall on him or pull at him, so looking for a home with kids that are old enough to understand nice touching only. He has been a total sweetheart. Huskies are vocal, smart, high energy breed, so we are looking for the right adopter to meet his needs and to be his forever home.
We do in home meets, there is a contract as well and we let the dog help us to decide who the right fit is for them and we also only set up meets for those we think would be a good possible fit.

Foster to Adopt (Pending Neuter). Do not apply if you just want a German Shepherd, but can't really meet his needs physically and mentally. I will be screening carefully, because I want this to be the right fit and someone who will train him, so please read the entire post.
Kaizer is a 1 year and 9 months, male, German Shepherd. He is not neutered, and will be neutered by the rescue, but is up to date on all of his vaccinations and on his routine heart worm medication. Kaizer is crate train, but he also free roams around the first floor family room. He is a loving and loyal canine dog, and loves to play fetch. He does have some anxiety when meeting a new person but quickly warms up when playing fetch with him. kaizer absolutely loves to play fetch, it is something that seems to help bring his anxiety of meeting new people down.
Kaizer loves his family to a fault of being over protective of them with strangers. His family says once strangers play fetch with him, he tends to warm up quickly. He is a bit too much for his family and has run out at strangers a couple of times, but did not bite anyone, but it was alarming to the family. At home with the family he is super loving and cuddly, so he could really benefit from training for impulse control. He is a working breed so he needs an active family who helps him to get enough exercise and to mentally stimulate him.
We will be doing an in home meet, and a contract and adoption fee are part of adoption. The dog will have to help pick his family as well, so will look for a family the dog bonds with.

This is Sassy is a 3 month old female, Boxer mix according to vet, and is currently around 15 lbs. She is mostly puppy pad trained and learning to go potty outside. She is crate trained, cried for a little bit some night but then settles and sleeps through the night. Has a sweet disposition, and she would make a great ESA because she connects to people quickly. She is smart and sassy and oh such a character. She does good with other cats, dogs and kids. She just loves to be around others and adapts to new surroundings rather quickly. She knows sit and is treat motivated so should be easy to train and work with since she is eager to please her humans. She will sleep cuddled up right next to you on the couch during naptime. She is such a little love bug and loves to play and be there right with you, she does have some jealousy when you give other animals attention, but stops when corrected and told no and to be nice.

Brownie and Bandit were born on October 15, 2022, and are Chihuahua/pug mix. mom as about 15 lbs full grown.

Brownie weighed in at about 9 lbs on 1/28. He is the social butterfly of the litter and it super affectionate and energetic. He is the adventurous one of the litter and loves playing with toys. Brownie would like an active family who will take him on walks and play with him. He is really cuddly, but also very playful, but is not a fan of baths at all.

These do well with young kids, and were initially around several other dogs before we took them in, no idea on cats but I am sure they can easily adapt to cats since they are so young. They about like 90% potty trained! Foster still working on over night potty training! They know how to sit! When it’s time to eat they know how to go to their house(crate) and sit down so they can have it!

They have been neutered on 1/28, microchipped and vaccinated (2 vaccines done so far, still need third to be be full vaccinated).

This little guys name is Poncho & is currently about 5 years old and around 12-15 lbs. He’s a Chihuahua/Tibetan Spaniel/Brussel Griffon mix. He is neutered, microchipped & up to date on vaccinations according to current owner. He is very playful & loving but does take a little while to warm up to other people & animals. He is good with current owners two year old son, but unfortunately the son is allergic to him. They tried keeping his hair cut shorter (his hair is normally longer than in pictures). He was previously kept in a garage but has since house trained him. He still has a lot of energy & requires a lot of attention.

We require in home meets, and a contract and everyone must agree that it is the right fit before an adoption can take place.

Misha was born on October 15, 2022, and is a Husky mix. Miss Misha is a sweet girl with lots of s***k. She love’s kisses and belly rubs. She loves to zoom around, play and rough house with other pups. She loves to chase her toys, play tug of war and kinda getting the idea of fetch down. She would definitely love to run around a big play area playing with other dogs and people. Once she burns all her energy out she loves to just come chill and snuggle in your lap or sitting next to you. Not a huge fan of the bath, but loves to play in the water dish, and I think would love a kiddie pool. Also has been working on her come, sit and down. She loves to be around people and will follow you all over. She is kennel trained still working on potty training, but doing well. Does well with my other dogs and cats, as long as the dogs are not in her face or stomping on her she adapts quickly to new animals.

Bandit has this unique look about him, he is cream in color with a dark streak down his back, reminds me of my brothers pug coloring. Bandit weighed in at about 8 lbs on 1/28. He is more laid back, and easy going calm personality. He likes to play, but also loves snuggles just as much. Bandit does really well in the bath.

He did not scratch or bite, was just trying to run and hide from her. They are both fixed, microchipped, and UTD on vaccines. Luci is 12.5 lbs, big kitty, not fat but big.

Luci- More independent but also loves to get attention as well, but prefers not to be held as much. Will come to sit and snuggle right next to you. She is more soft-spoken compared to her brother Cash and has the cutest soft meow. She is fine with other dogs as long as they are chill, she will hang out with them. She has a bit more s***k than Cash and can be sweet and sassy. Luci is also fluffy, not as full as Cash, but still so soft and fluffy.

Cash - Loves attention; butt rubs, snuggling and being carried. He knows when he wants something and is very vocal to call you when its meal time. He is such a sweet boy, and so incredibly soft and fluffy, a total lover and not a fighter. Absolutely loves hanging out in the cat tree too.
