Finally!!! I have learned to adjust flocking and drop panels!!! Now I practice on the old saddles I have collected for this purpose.

Learned a few other cool things too. ;-)

I will be out and about, headed to the Netherlands to attend EDIX's Dealer Days where I will learn to adjust saddle-flocking among other things, and to visit my Ghost contact/dealer-coordinator, then off to Norway to visit friends and family.

I will be busy busy busy and several time zones away. If you contact me between March 21st and April 2nd, I will eventually respond, but it may not be immediately and I may have limited time to help you until I get back.

My first EDIX Union saddles arrived. I have not ridden in it yet, but I did sit in it on my stand, and it's quite comfy! It has a lovely narrow twist, which my body demands.

It has more "structure" than I expected from a Ba****ck Pad. I suspect it distributes weight very well and likely eliminates pressure from the stirrup-ring. I would call it more of a "riding-pad" or lightweight treeless saddle. Because it's not just a floppy flimsy pad, I would recommend a quality pad under it for the horse's comfort.

I really love the versatility! You can ride in it without the panels (with a quality pad under it) for a BBP feel - getting close and personal with your horse. Or if your horse needs more spine channel or for more intense work requiring more support, use the panels.

I received one for a customer and this one for my inventory: Size small, color Brown: $749. Includes 2 sets of blocks - large and medium. US customers only.

Grippy suede cowhide provides a medium-deep soft seat, with a great position for dressage or trails. "Love it! It's the saddle Ghost needed! It leaves the endurance realm and enters the pleasure realm. It looks and feels like an expensive lush hand-made saddle. Very soft leather and padded deep seat. It's smallish for a dressage saddle so it fits little Coco really well."

My first C-series Ghost saddle spent the past weekend with a very special client.

She has been a customer for many years, having owned several saddles purchased from me, as well as other saddles I do not sell, but which I fit.

She is honest and outspoken and lets me know exactly what she wants and what she thinks of a saddle. She has placed her horse's welfare first as long as I have known her. Her horse is a 13.2hh Spotted Saddle-horse with a short, straight back and broad shoulders - a fitting challenge.

So when I finally got my first Ghost C-series saddle in last week, I could think of no one better to give it a good test/comparison and provide honest feedback.

This made me so happy!!!!! She tested the Ghost C-series Valle d'Aosta in deep brown and black Fiore leather:

Just in!!! New bling, whoot!!!!!

My first C saddle from Ghost just arrived. 🥰😍🤩🤩

Compared to Ghost's Original line, the new C line:

- has a deeper seat. For those who prefer a more open seat, it can be ordered with a lower cantle
- traditional English look, only available with a hidden pommel - no arch
- Narrow twist comparable to a treed english saddle
- the flaps are swappable
- the angle of the flaps can be adjusted
- Matching panels and base and panel underside is included in the base price.
- Available with the FLEXX, semi-FLEXX, and rigid bases

This particular saddle is made with the new Fiore leather, and it might become my new favorite leather: supple and strong like our beloved oiled nubuck, but with a lower-maintenance smooth surface.

This saddle is in the Piccolo size with extra Dees at the front, and I have ordered it with Valle d'Aosta and Torino flaps. Semi-FLEXX base. It is superb as a demo for people who don't know whether they want the Torino-style knee- blocks or the more supportive external thigh-blocks.

Update Feb 11: I am holding the box a little, and it is scheduled to ship Wed morning. The more I get into that box, the more I save on shipping, so anything you add to my box before tonight (Tueday,Pacific time) will be discounted 5%. That's a win-win.

I will be shipping a box from EDIX in The Netherlands to my shop in WA State on Monday.

There is room for more goodies in the box. There is already a saddle in there, so i can't add a saddle, but can add anything else.
