We believe she has a foster to adopt home lined up 🤞🤞

Did you know Ana was the first cat in the original colony that started this crazy adventure to tame up? She would come barreling out of nowhere the second she heard me call her, yelling and chatting. She spent 8 years of her life outside existing in a colony. These last few months have been a whirlwind for her. She went to a foster, then to the vet, then to another foster, then to the Haven camper, and then to a perfect forever home. Now that home has to give her up and poor Ana has to make yet another change. And we have had NO luck finding anyone to take her. Is it because we said she’s a queen bee and needs to have space from other pets? Probably. But, we would have to put her somewhere for her to just move again. She’s perfect in every way. She’s great with litter box manners, she loves playing, she loves napping on the bed with you, she loves just being in the presence of a human. Did we mention the loud purr and belly scratches? Ana needs someone desperately 😞 This just breaks my heart over and over.

Our newest intake was a total surprise. We were trapping at a colony where we thought there were no kittens. The caretakers and neighbors had no idea she was there. No one claimed her and given her personality we couldn’t put her back outside! We are calling her Ingrid and she is the sweetest floof in the world. We had a vet friend check her out off duty and he found out her liver is much larger and harder than it should be. So, Ingrid needs a vet visit ASAP! We can get her seen tomorrow, but we need to raise at least $200 for her initial visit. We are hopeful nothing too serious is going on. At this point she is happy and playful!

😻 Two sweet stray siblings need a home for the holidays 😻

Hi, everyone! I’ve been working with local cat rescues to get this brother-sister pair vaxxed, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption before it gets any colder.

These two showed up in our Inverness (Birmingham, AL 35242) apartment complex in August. They were scared, skinny, and looking for help. Since then, they’ve grown into the sweetest little duo. I've posted online, but no one has claimed them as lost pets. For now, they're Baby Girl and Baby Boy.

About them:
• Baby Girl is a dilute calico (white/gray/orange) with light green eyes.
• Baby Boy is white and pale orange with amber eyes.
• Both of them have incredibly soft fur and pink little noses and toe beans.
• They have no known health problems.
• At ~8 months and ~8 lbs each, they're still growing.
• They’re also playful and full of personality! Baby Girl is a snuggly head-butter, and Baby Boy’s a shy love bug who tries to rub against our cat through the patio door glass. 🧡😭
• Treats are the secret to quickly building their trust.

Adoption details:
• They’re deeply bonded siblings, so they need to be adopted together.
• To make sure they go to a loving, committed home, I'm asking for single $50 adoption fee. Every penny will be donated to Kitty Kat Haven & Rescue, and I’ll share the receipt.
• If you have a current vet, I’d like their clinic name for a quick reference to confirm it’s a great match.
• I'll be getting both cats vaccinated, spayed, and neutered before they go home with you.

Home requirements:
• These sweeties are overdue for an indoor-only life of comfort and safety.
• They could probably do well with one other cat, but they may be stressed if they're outnumbered.
• A home without dogs would be ideal and more comfortable for them.
• No children under 6, only because they’re still shy and adjusting.

Supplies you’ll need:
• 2 cat carriers
• 2 litter boxes
• Litter
• Wet & dry cat food
• Topical flea + heartworm prevention

Alright guys, we found foster homes for the Campground Kitties. Now, let’s find a foster or adopter for Ana! Ana is a gorgeous, talkative, sweet, independent girl who needs a new place to go. She prefers to be the only cat. If you are open to fostering, but have other pets, she would be fine in a separate area! She’s just a queen bee and knows it! She won’t go after other cats, but does prefer space away from them.

So many adult cats get looked over because people feel they’re too difficult to deal with. But, really it’s the opposite. We know their quirks and personalities and don’t have to guess. It is also so rewarding to be able to help an adult find their forever home! They are so grateful and it’s amazing to witness ❤️

I have news about the Campground Kitties!!

Four went to a foster (The Cat Engineer) last night!

One is at the vet now and staying over night because she isn’t doing well.

Two more go to the vet tomorrow and then to a foster home!

That leave two (Star and Bess) for us to get healthy so they can find foster homes.

By some amazing Christmas miracle we found space for them all. They won’t have to be returned 😭

Now to fundraise!

In efforts to help our foster mom find her missing boy we came across this handsome fellow we are calling Rob! Rob is a bit of a jerk and definitely not the missing cat. We think his attitude is coming from his balls! Unfortunately, Rob is giving his current hotel service 1/5 stars. And trust me, the one star is ONLY because he is getting gourmet meals. Rob is hoping for an early checkout, so we made him a neuter appointment at our regular vet Friday. Unfortunately, this comes at a pretty steep cost. We need to raise $250 for his vet care and neuter. Can you help us reach our goal?

All of our stray dogs and cats are on a 10 day city hold from the day they arrive here and will be adoptable after the 10th day, adoption date 12/13.
