A personal project I just got around to photograph. I did this one the tough way. Thats why it took 6 years to complete. All skins where tanned in house. Lots of custom molding, including all mouth pieces, juvenile gators and otter parts. Custom carved forms both Alligator and Otters.
I was fortunate to take this great trophy in August of 2016. The Florida beast measured out at 11 foot 4 inches, with an estimated live weight of 650 Lbs. Almost what it weighs mounted. lots of extremely hard work, but very rewarding for capturing a moment in the Alligator swamp.
The busy scene is a natural occurrence for a dominate Male Gator. The swamp is dangerous place for the juvenile gators. Otters and the Dominate Bull Gator may kill other gators to reclaim new areas for his own home base. Hope you enjoy the photos!

Just a reminder, don't let your butcher or buddy assume they know where to cut a hide for a shoulder mount.They are not the taxidermist. We like to see your trophy skinned like this photo and the whole hide intact. Some poses require extra cape. Better to be safe, than sorry!

A couple of personal trophies for the show room. I was fortunate enough to take a couple of days off between Christmas and new year's, to do some long overdue projects. Enjoy the photos of my Eland , it was a very hard-earned animal and I'm still amazed at the size. The Copper Springbok is a gold medal trophy and my first African trophy, from our 2019 Safari. Both trips where with Numzaan Safaris/ South Africa.
